Why Kerry-Lynn Moede chose Williams
The Historic Yellow House was owned by the same family for 93 years! Before that, it served as the bunkhouse and supervisor's office for the Saginaw & Manistee Lumber Mill. The rich history of the home and the area were fascinating. After years of watching the beautiful property fall into disrepair, we decided we had to do something. We carefully dis-assembled the entire property and saved everything historic that we could. Re-claimed wood, original floors and amazing stonework still remain. The yard continues to improve and based on historic photos will be restored soon. Artifacts and photos abound in the home. Charm and comfort of a bygone era welcome guests. A perfect 'summer cottage' in a wonderful mountain community.

Awesome comfortable place!
Our family came up to do the Polar Express and truly enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous historical house. The location is awesome (walk to Safeway and downtown) and the large rooms had plenty of space for our group. We plan on making this a family tradition!
Thanks for the review! I appreciate your comments. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Perfectly lovely place in a magical town
We were greeted by a warm and cozy atmosphere complete with soft, welcoming music playing and a glowing fireplace. The Yellow House is a precious gem in this charming town. Beds were comfortable and the decor was delightful. The dining table and the fireplace were our gathering spots for games (UNO especially) and laughter. The house had everything we wanted and more, and the owner was on standby to help with anything. The Canyon, the Polar Express, the snowstorm and the friendly restaurants and shops kept us busy and inspiried. We only wished the walls could have talked. This is a lovingly restored destination for any family group getaway!
You were such troopers during our "big storm"! Thanks for choosing us. I'm so glad you enjoyed yourselves.
This place is a gem!
Rented for a trip to Grand Canyon with friends. We all had our own bathrooms which is great! Everything you could possibly need was available and the owner was always quick to respond to questions! We will back!
Thanks! We look forward to having you back.
A very special home

Thanks, guys! We are so glad you were comfortable.
Refuge and comfort
Loved our stay at the Yellow House! Kerry-Lynn was very quick to respond to questions and was so helpful. The home is beautifully renovated and decorated and it was fun to read thru the scrapbook Kerry-Lynn made to tell the property's story.
The beds were very comfortable and after each day we spent sight seeing at the Grand Canyon, we were all eager to come home to the Yellow House and rest. It felt like a refuge from our busy days and we were all very comfortable.
The property is situated very well in town and is within walking distance of many places to eat, grocery, etc. A wonderful place to stay. We hope we get the chance to come again!!
Thanks for the GREAT review! I am so glad you were comfortable and had fun.
