Our 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 2 car garage home features two levels, each with mesmerizing views. The upper level is the main floor with an open kitchen, dining, living area, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a covered and screened deck running the full length of the home all looking out onto San Carlos Bay. The lower level is a complete guest apartment with a full kitchen, living/dining area, one bedroom and one bathroom that opens out to the beautiful pool area. The spacious property features a lush lawn, many trees, a spectacular heated pool and spa, a dock, and boat lift. Pine Island is the largest island in the state of Florida but does not have one single traffic light. Islands Magazine featured Pine Island as one of the 15 best secret islands in Florida.

Bedroom 3 has its own private bath along with sliding glass doors that open onto the pool and spa area. *Additional sleeping space is available via a sleeper sofa in the upstairs living room.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The pool was large and a great view. The house was very nice, good sized bedrooms and the owner was very accommodating. We saw a lot of wildlife and I recommend taking a local fishing trip along with renting kayaks. Wouldn't hesitate on returning.

Great place! Great View!

The house was excellent and well equipped. Thoroughly enjoyed the boat dock and pool. My only recommendation would be a propane grill for the guests.

Great Property on Pine Island Sound. Owner very responsive to needs. The four not five stars is for the lay out. Third bedroom and bath downstairs and connected by outside staircase at pool or front door. Separate entrance. Great for college age kids or if traveling with two couples or families. We just had our kids share a room. Downstairs room should have drapes or blinds over the sliding glass door. Beautiful spot. Well appointed house. Everything you would need to outfit you for your time in St. James City. Eagle's nest viewed from kitchen window a great bonus.

Fantastic house

Fantastic views from a wonderful house. A very well equipped house (apart from the paddles for the kayaks which were locked away, we could have hired some but the moment had passed). Justin very helpful and quick to answer emails. The only downside is that our check out time was 11.00am and the cleaners arrived at 9.50am and insisted we should have been out by 10.00am. My daughter answered the door and was told "we thought you would have gone by now" which resulted in me having to log on to the website to prove that our departure time was 11.00am. My daughter, her husband and baby quickly moved all their belongings from the downstairs to the upstairs so that the cleaners could work in that part of the house, the cleaners clearly were not leaving as they were waiting in their car in the drive way. This resulted in a very rushed breakfast and not being able to do everything we wanted to do, including putting back the pool inflatables into the cupboard. This was very upsetting and spoilt the end of a very good holiday.

Lovely stay in a beautiful home

The owner, Justin was helpful and accommodating with quick response and just a really friendly person.

The house was beautiful and equipped with everything that we needed to enjoy a 2 week stay. We watched the sun rise in the morning, dolphin swim by in the afternoon and spent lots of time in the heated pool. My family enjoyed this trip and this house.

My only suggestions would be that I enjoy watching tv from bed with my husband and there was no cable in the master bedroom.

The towels could be more luxurious and more of them.

Fantastic Home - Best Vacation - Wonderful & Relax

This has been the best vacations we have ever had & it had to do with your home! It is a fabulous home–comfortable, well laid out, the kitchen was fantastic with oversized drawers , deep sink, lots of bells & whistles, the pool & spa couldn’t have been better, having the dock right there to have our 3 wave runners was icing on the cake! Only wish we would have booked for 2 wks. This was a celebration for our son who graduated from high school – Central Fla Aerospace Academy. So with 3 of his graduating class he had the downstairs which was perfect for them with the living room they all set up computer monitors and their x-boxes for gaming and had their own bedroom with air mattress for sleeping & bathroom. While upstairs was food central with me cooking all meals for the week as promised is where I, hubby, our daughter, and our furry daughter lived for the week. At night everyone gathered to play card games. Fireworks on the 4th of July were wonderful! On the last night we all wrote wishes on ‘wish lanterns’ and then set them off over the water from the dock–it was a sight to see. Hoping next year we are able to book 2 wks at this home even if it is just for us four and our furry girls as this was such a wonderful time and so comfortable and relaxing! Only improvements that could be completed the grill we did try to use and we even filled up the gas for the next guests but only 2 burners work and it is extremely dirty (we just covered the grates we foil before cooking), the main table is fantastic to play cards but the squeaking is awful (you can’t talk over it much less think), need to replace and have cable in the bedroom (just not acceptable in 2015), the spiral stairs need (a real easy fix) stick down rubber so they are not slippery as 3 of us did fall down the last 3-4 steps several times as they do get wet and then they are dangerous. We purchased for $62 from Wal-Mart on our way into Pine Island Kayak paddles so that we did not have to travel back out in the event they ‘walked-off’ to use in the Kayaks stated that were on property–please note these Kayaks on property would only be able to fit extremely small and thin stick people the smallest boy we had is approx. 110 pds 5’8” and no way he was fitting into either of the closed Kayaks. Paddles I purchased will be returned to Wal-Mart. Our family loved this home and we had a great time-I am really picky and OCD so for me to relax and say this about another person’s home AAA+++. Thank You!!
