About Noelle Pearson

I am a native Oregonian that has spent the last 20 years managing commercial construction projects and decided to retire in Paradise.

Noelle Pearson purchased this house in 2010

Why Noelle Pearson chose Puna District

I purchased this raw acre of Jungle because I truly enjoy the serenity and peace of this area of Hawaii. The laid back feel and slow pace is just what everyone needs once in a while ! I have worked for nearly 4 years clearing and manicuring the grounds into an enjoyable oasis and a cozy private home tucked away behind the foliage is your to enjoy while you can.

What makes this house unique

My Villa is the closet thing to the comforts of home that you will find with attention to detail in the craftsmanship and hand built rock garden walls. I have planted thousands of Trees, Palms, Orchids, Ferns, Birds of Paradise, Ginger, Hibiscus plants to name a few. I pride myself on the grounds and the natural beauty of the native plants.

Very accommodating

Neat room, beautiful garden, very nice equipments -- convenient onsite laundry and bathroom outside the house so that we can rinse off before entering the house. Manager extremely friendly and helpful. Always respond promptly and let us check in early (supposed to be 4pm but allowed us to check in before 1pm, we actually checked in at 2pm. This is really helpful as we are taking 3 small kids with us). There are many books for kids to enjoy in the living room. It's very sweet that the owner/manager put some local coupons in the room for us to use. The neighborhood is also nice. The house is close to downtown Pahoa, where we can conveniently find restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the scenic drive to Ahalanui county beach park and the warm water there. I'm so happy that we chose to stay Pahoa instead of Hilo and chose this house.

Perfect for our family!

  • 5 of 5

We loved the beautiful home and gardens! It was a perfect place to rest between our visits to locations all around the Big Island. The extra amenities were fabulous: basket of fresh fruit, bathroom extras, laundry facilities, extra shower, beach gear to borrow, fresh water, WOW!

So thoughtful, and much appreciated!

Paradise is the only way I can describe this property. Starting with the fruit basket waiting for us when we arrived. The most beautiful yard I have ever seen. The house was clean. Great to have clothes washing facilities. Beds comfortable. Never saw people who apparently live in other house on the property. All in all a great place to stay in order to be close to Volcano Nat. Park.

Comfortable, clean, safe for small children, beautiful garden, very relaxing

  • 5 of 5

A great find. Lovely neighborhood, lush garden and lawn well tended, open concept kitchen, second bathroom is in a separate building outside right off patio which helps with privacy and comfort. Covered patio off of kitchen and one of the bedrooms. Clean. Ron and grandaughter Vanessa are in a house on site that is arranged so both places are private. They were both very helpful and nice if we needed something. One story ranch, safe for a 16 month old toddler to wander about. Fresh fruit basket and bath supply basket were nice touches. Birds and frog songs abundant. Highly recommend.

A very peaceful beautiful and clean home for you to enjoy and relax!

  • 5 of 5

The drive to the house was long. We were starting to ask ourselves what did we do? But when you get there, all the worries and complains go away with how beautiful, calm, relaxing the house and location is.

The owner lives next to the house and is a very nice per. "It's your house, treat it as you will treat your house" he said.

The house is very clean with everything well organised. Rooms are big enough for two adults. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Bathrooms are very clean and my favorite was the bathroom outside.

There was a basket of fresh tropical fruit waiting for us on the table when we first got there.

At night open the windows and let cool breeze with sounds of nature come in a give you a very relax and refreshed sleep. All in all, I will definitely come back again to this peaceful beautiful home. I just wish there were more rooms so I can come next time with my entire family.

If there's anything I can suggest you add is more notes about the various attractions you have close to your house like, the house is very close to a volcano viewing site, a beach, hot pond. We didn't find out all these a day before we were suppose to be leaving. We spent time driving to see all these things in different locations when they were all behind our back yard.

Thank you again and hope to see you in the not too distance future.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for taking to drive out to our little piece of paradise...very glad that you enjoyed yourself! P.S. Thank you for the recommendation to have local info....we had a great map and notes but unfortunately the guests that stayed prior to you accidentally took it home with them. Please come back anytime! Noelle & Ron

Rain Forest Stay

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time! The house had everything one would need for a satisfying stay. We usually have to buy water when vacationing, and it was nice to have a water cooler provided. We did enjoy the grounds, and hearing the rain forest coqui frogs, and the complimentary bowl of fruit. The groundskeeper lives close by in case there are any issues. Would stay here again and recommend it to our friends!
