The downstairs guest room has a full ensuite bath and large closet. Upstairs bonus room (with pull out couch) sleeps two. Laundry room upstairs. Two bikes (one adult one adolescent) and other sports equipment available.
The property is a home, and it is private and non-owner occupied (meaning the owners will NOT be in the residence during rental periods).
There is a public commuter bus that runs to the ferry terminal mornings and from the ferry terminal evenings. The bus stops about a block from the property.
We are two transplanted East Coasters (one from Western Mass, one from NJ) who met and fell in love on the ferry. We married and settled in together six ago and needless to say, we love the island life! We will be traveling for work (to Portland) and for leisure (to Chautauqua, NY) this summer and would like the opportunity to make this amazing view and excellent location available to fellow travelers.

The views! The proximity to town or the Seattle ferry.
Very well appointed home with beautiful gardens and a stellar view. Only minutes from the ferry, close to shops/grocery, and in a safe upscale neighborhood. The owners really have thought of everything for their guests..... I thank The Boyons for sharing their wonderful home.
The incredible view was worth the entire trip! The owners thought of everything and our stay was perfect.
I can't say enough about what a beautiful home and property it is. The photos don't do it justice. We spent most of our time outside on the cozy furniture enjoying the front seat view of the boat traffic on the Sound and the Seattle skyline. The home is beautiful and well maintained. It was a great way to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city without a long road trip. It was so relaxing and peaceful with the sound of the waves against the shore as a backdrop. We couldn't have picked a more beautiful and relaxing place to get away from it all!
Scenic views of the beautiful Puget Sound area and Seattle Skyline including stunning views of Mt Rainier. Watch the ferries come and go, the cargo ships, submarines, aircraft carriers and fishing fleets from the patio, deck, living room, dining room, kitchen and guest room. Eagles swoop by as you keep a keen eye out for the local Orca pod. Spend the afternoon at the golf course (across the street), beach combing (a short walk down the road) or shopping at the destination town of Winslow (a mile away). Or spend the day in Seattle and finish the sight seeing off with a 30 min ferry ride back to Bainbridge. The ferry terminal for the Seattle ferry is a mile away, and the ferry ride takes about a half hour, where you can walk right off the ferry to downtown Seattle. You'll be walking distance from all the downtown sights of Seattle, but have your private retreat with stunning views and quiet island life! Bikes are available. There is a public commuter bus that runs to the ferry mornings and from the ferry terminal evenings. The bus stops about a block from the property. Or take a $5 cab and you are in downtown Winslow for the fine dining, shopping, arts, theater, cinema on the island or hop on the Seattle ferry. Ferry runs about every hour or more frequently until after midnight every day.
The property was build in 2007. You will have the entire first floor which includes a guest room with ensuite full bath. Living room with four chairs and a comfy couch, dining room that comfortably seats 6, break fast bar and kitchen stocked with an avid cook's appliance and cookware. Fully stocked pantry including spices, oils, condiments and some canned goods.
You'll love having the option of a quick pop in town for a movie, dinner at the local excellent restaurants, nearby grocery and all the necessities like pharmacy and gas stations. Or just relax at your island retreat!
