The Kaanapali Alii has long been considered the most premiere luxury oceanfront resort on Maui located directly on the famous Kaanapali Beach! We've been fortunate to own a two bedroom suite that features one of the most prime oceanviews including the most coveted Black Rock! Our two bedroom, two bath condo offers an expansive floor plan that includes a fully applianced kitchen, ample dining room and spacious living room all featuring fabulous oceanviews. We've just completed painting our unit and upgrading our living room with a brand new sofa along with all new carpeting. We've also replaced our mattress in the master bedroom with a brand new king size bed.

We visit our condo often and enjoy Maui island living and strive to bring the same tropical ambience into our home while keeping it practical and comfortable with all the modern amenities that we've all come to expect. We do provide beach towels in our unit and beach toys.

We also offer FREE WIFI, IPod docs, CD player and flat screen tv's.

You'll appreciate the new pools and the gorgeous new fitness facility came out beautifully A short walk to Whaler's Village. The Whaler's village is an outdoor mall that has excellent variety of restaurants, galleries and museums. Located on a excellent sandy swimming beach. Great for surfing, snorkeling, and relaxing in the sun.

Wonderful time!

We just spent a week in this unit. The view is unbelievable. The condominium is well taken care of. All of the rooms have beautiful ocean views. There are two boogie boards and an umbrella to use. The wagon that is in the washer/dryer closet was used almost every night to take everything down the to the BBQ area. The property is well maintained. We would return.

Great View.

Fantastic view of Kaanapali beach and Alii grounds. Unfortunately, the Condo is tired and needs extensive renovations before we would consider it again. Kitchen smells. Toilets don't flush properly. Beds in 2nd Bedroom are soft and uncomfortable. Pillows in both Bedrooms are lumpy and uncomfortable.

The view is everything if that's ALL you want to pay for.

Owner's Response: We were so disappointed to hear your comments regarding the kitchen and toilets. We pride ourselves on responding immediately to any maintenance issues that may arise during a guest stay. Had we been notified I'm quite certain we could have remedied for you very quickly by explaining both toilets were replaced in 2015 with low flow water that has a pressure assisted flush. These do tend to require a slightly longer pause when pressing on the toilet handle. This unit's most recent upgrades were made just this past year with all new master bedroom furnishings, new large screen TV in the living room and a few home accents. Plans will be continuing throughout this year that include new queen beds for the guest bedroom, as well as upgrading the kitchen. As soon as the improvements are complete we will feature our new look on this listing. I hope it will inspire you to give us another look. Glad you appreciated the location and the views!

Maui Vacation

Very nice location for a Maui condo. Spacious with great views of Kaanapali beach, the central pool area, and Black Rock in the distance. The condo is a little dated but very functional. Be careful not to step where the carpet meets the tile floor as the tack strip will ruin your day. Also, some sliding doors are very difficult to open. Overall, I would recommend this unit for a great family vacation.

They recently completed a full bedroom remodel in the master bedroom and have plans for further upgrades throughout the unit. One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed

We recently stayed at this condo and had a wonderful time (it felt more like a home than a condo). When we first opened the front door, the view in this condo took our breath away. It was well decorated, everything was in excellent condition, and the views were nothing short of spectacular. The beds were comfortable, the sectional was perfect - was open to the kitchen and dining room and offered a great view of the TV and beach. The space and amenities worked well for myself, my husband and my two sons (21 & 14). I was even able to get some work done while enjoying an amazing view, using the free wi-fi , and the beautifully carved table in the dining. This was centrally located- close to Whaler's Village, restaurants, nearby hotels and some of the best snorkeling at Black Rock. I love the boardwalk that runs along the beach. The pool was wonderful, with food service available from a nearby restaurant. Chairs were available on the beach. I said many times during the trip that I could not have been more pleased with our choice of this condo (my husband was shocked, because he rarely ever hears me say that). We had a great time and I can honestly say, our enjoyment was, in large part, due to our stay in this luxurious well appointed home. I was so sad to leave. I will really miss it. ‘Mahalo’- for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home. We are truly grateful for the experience.

Great Resort

We recently stayed here with our adult sons and daughter-in-law. We loved the location and view from this unit. It was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Even the Aerobed that my youngest son slept on in the living room was comfortable. It was so nice to be able to sit on the lanai comfortably and enjoy the view and the whales frolicking in the ocean. The barbeques on site were always clean and it was great to have a "Grill Master" to offer opinions and help with the grilling. The pools were beautiful and never crowded. Great to be able to go for long walks on the beach and have some really great restaurants and shopping only steps away. We did find a few things that needed some TLC in the unit such as towel racks that were loose and the table on the lanai was quite wobbly. Carpets are starting to show their age. The kitchen was well stocked except for spoons (3 teaspoons and 3 tablespoons). We still very much enjoyed our time at Kaanapali Alii and would stay here again.
