A Lovely property...a home away from home

  • 5 of 5

The property is located in a quaint and peaceful community. The house is warm and inviting. It was the perfect choice for our family gathering. We spent the majority of our time at the home cooking and enjoying the many amenities. My personal favorite was the steam room in the master bath. My kids enjoyed the ping pong table in the garage and the zip line in the back yard. The owner is very accommodating and a pleasure to do business with. Thank you Doug for a wonderful experience

Best house and property!

  • 5 of 5

This house and property was so fabulous! It had all the amenities you could need, even the little things like laundry detergent and kitchen condiments. Drawers were packed with things you might need, games and toys. The garage and outside had almost every kind of recreational item you can think of - way too many to get to them all. The entire property was so beautiful - it was the perfect place to observe the Feast of Tabernacles, which foreshadows the millineal reign of Christ. And Doug's hospitality was amazing, making sure everything was great for us! Thank you!!

Fun family house!

  • 5 of 5

This is a great property for our party of 6 adults and especially for the 2 kids, ages 5 and 1. The house is well located in a very quiet, private, beautiful setting, near shops at El Jebel, and within a short drive to Aspen. For a big house, it was very cozy, and spotless, too! We've stayed in several properties similar to this and this one stood out, especially because of the very well stocked kitchen and incredible backyard...great for the kids (and adults) with the trampolines, badminton, tree house, zip line, and great furnished sitting areas. Our favorite spot was the eating nook off the kitchen--warm and inviting, and perfect for kids' card games. Kudos to Doug the owner who was very responsive to my many emails. Highly recommend this property.

Amazing property in an even more amazing area!

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I did a guys trip to do some Colorado fishing and hiking (29 Sept-3 Oct). We showed up to the house and it was a beautiful lot with so much to do (ping pong, zip line, fire pit, volleyball, cornhole, fishing pond) the house was very clean and well prepared for our stay. The house was situated in a quite, open neighborhood with awesome privacy. It was only 30-40 min from aspen and snowmass. The pond on the property was amazing, we didn’t have to go far to throw some flies in the water. The property is within a very short, pretty walk to the roaring fork river. The appliances and cookware were all high quality and there was plenty of space for our group of 8. On top of being a perfect place for a guys trip, this house would be perfect for a small family reunion or just a family getaway. There is literally so much to do on the property and nearby. We were very pleased with how Doug stayed in contact with us the whole time through arrival to departure, answering any questions we had. We will most definitely be recommending this property to anyone who wants to enjoy the beautiful mountains of Colorado.

Everything you want, everything you need

  • 5 of 5

Stay in El Jebel and enjoy everything the Roaring Fork Valley offers. Thirty minutes from Aspen, twenty to Snowmass, five either way to Carbondale and Basalt allows easy access to the best restaurants, outdoor activity, shopping and entertainment. But the real appeal is the property itself.

You will enjoy the ample grounds with plenty of sports equipment for everyone in the family; kick back and cook and grill your meals on premises; get your groceries from either City Market or Whole Foods within walking distance. Doug ensures your comfort and is available to answer any questions. Everything is provided. If you are devoted to the Little Nell, Ritz or Jerome venues, do yourself a favor and expand your horizons and enjoy this property instead. Give up your room service and raid the refrigerator!
