If you are looking for your own private resort, then our 1010 Movie Colony Estate will make you very happy. Resort size pool, large yard, every amenity top of the line. 4 large bedrooms each with their own en suite beautiful bathroom plus guest bath. Entire house impeccably decorated and designed. Large, open living spaces including living room, dining room, and gourmet Chef's kitchen with Viking stove. House is centered around the large pool with each bedroom having direct access to the outdoors with unbelievable mountain views that go on for days. TV's in each bedroom, speakers inside and out operate from your iPhone or iPad, outdoor fire pit to stare at for hours. Gas grill, hammock, and multiple outdoor dining and seating options. Perfect for families or couples traveling together. Complete privacy in each room but with great public spaces to gather and celebrate the beauty of Palm Springs. Located directly next to Ruth Hardy Park which offers tennis, playground, and walking trails. An easy stroll into town to enjoy the restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. This is our dream house and we hope it will help some of your dreams come true as well. And, if you have a large group or corporate retreat, we also have another home we can recommended right across the street that we used to own (ask for details).

Concierge will meet you and show you the house and is available if needed during your stay. Maid service is available during stay at additional charge. Not available for events. Check-out time is 11 a.m. and check-in time is 4 p.m. Our concierge will arrange to meet you at the property to show you around and answer any questions about the property.

Some holiday rates vary so please inquire. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years require a minimum one week stay at $1,000 per night. Spring Break, Coachella, White Party are $1,000 per night, 4 night minimum.

We live in Los Angeles with our son and have owned a few properties in the Palm Springs area. We love LA and Palm Springs and also own two condos on the beach in Puerto Vallarta that is also on VRBO. So, 1010 is our home for a long time and we hope you'll enjoy it as much as we do. We have designed it as our home which we are happy to share with you!

What makes this house unique

When you see the resort size pool and the mountain, it will take your breath away. We've never seen anything like it in our 10 years going to Palm Springs. This house is so unique and so perfect for families or couples traveling together. It is like having your own private resort but even better! Parking for two cars available in driveway and plenty of street parking (max of 4 cars can be parked on the street for this property per the City of Palm Springs Vacation Rental Rules and Regulations).

This was the perfect house for a reunion of eight old college friends. The layout with two bedrooms on one side and another bedroom and the casita on the other side of the living and kitchen area, all opening onto the pool and patio encouraged socializing and spending time outdoors. Spectacular views of the mountains and an easy walk to town. And everything was exactly as it appeared in the photos. No surprises. I definitely recommend this place.

Perfect vacation property

This property has everything you need! Right from the location to the well thought out kitchen, we didn't want for a thing. We were two families with four children between six and 10, and the layout of the house gave us our own private wings. Todd, the property manager was very helpful on arrival with giving us directions, restaurant ideas and sight-seeing tips. I would highly recommend this property to visiting families.

So awesome!

10 of us stayed here for my friend's bachelorette party. The bride said she had the best time of her life! The beds were comfortable, the pool was AMAZING! A kitchen that had pretty much everything you needed (BYOFood of course). The group all decided that we all need to do a yearly trip here. I almost don't want to give the place good reviews so it's not booked the next time we come back! :)

I wish Palm Springs wasn't so strict on outdoor music but if you play music inside it cannot be heard from the outside if the doors are shut. So, feel free to have that Britney, Whitney, Beyonce dance party indoors.

Fabulous getaway!!

We rented this great house with another family for a little R&R to get away from the Seattle rain. We were greeted by one of the owners and the property manager to walk us through the house. Great house for two families. It had separate wings with a common living space that opens out to a fabulous pool and backyard that is very private. Beautiful view of the mountains and sunsets. House had high end appliances and was well appointed. House is close to everything and was a great home base for us. Doesn't get much better and we would definitely consider this home again.

A perfect Mod Rest Spot

This is house is a treat to reside in. Great floor plan, magnificent mountain view poolside, well-stocked kitchen, and very nicely furnished. We had a delightful stay. You can walk two blocks into town for a variety of shopping and dining adventures. Or hop in the car to further explore the valley from this ideal location. We highly recommend this terrific house.
