Enjoy a relaxed holiday in comfort in this spacious, airy apartment. Terrazas de la Bahia is a modern and beautifully maintained development one step back from the beach situated on a hillside between Estepona and the beautiful Puerto Duquesa. Set within landscaped gardens the apartment looks over one of the two pool areas and over the sea. The apartment is modern and stylishly decorated with every convenience including satelite TV, wireless broadband, DVD player, dishwasher and air conditioning. The living / dining room and master bedroom open onto large balconies overlooking the sea. The rear bedroom also opens onto a balcony. The beach is a 5 minute walk away. Finca Cortesin, La Duquesa and Estepona golf courses are all within a 5 minute drive. There are several restaurants close to the development. The apartment is a 45 minute drive from Malaga airport and 30 minutes from Gibraltar.

What's more, if you book our apartment, we'll share the cost with you! The typical cost for a family of four travelling from London to Malaga would be about £18 - or £9 to you - we'll pay the other £9 and take care of all the details.

Shopping service: If you would like, we can arrange for some basic shopping to be purchased prior to your arrival. The cost of this service is 10 euros plus the cost of the provisions bought. This is payable on arrival.
We (5 grown-ups) so much enjoyed the spacious light well equipped two-storeyed apartment making us all feel at home straight away. Three lovely bedrooms with good modern beds, each with adjacent bathrooms, of which the master bedroom with its big inviting bathroom certainly stands out with the stunning view of the Mediterranean Sea from the upper big balcony facing east and south; an unforgettable view that may even be enjoyed from the comfortable master bed!
The lower identical balcony opens from the combined sitting room and dining room, and a smaller balcony on the second floor adjacent to the second upper bedroom offers you the opportunity of en-joying the late afternoon sun till evening facing west and north with a beautiful view of the mountains at a distance.
It goes without saying that the underground parking space makes your access to the apartment much easier and keeps the car much cooler in hot weather!!
From the very first contact with the British owner there was a mutual good under-standing of the conditions, which left an impression of serious and high quality business further empha-sized through the signing of the detailed Rental Agreement. Detailed directions for the location of the flat accompanies the Agreement and lots of printed material on all kinds of activities and attractions are at your disposal on your arrival.
On top of enjoying life on the balconies we walked to the beach and went for a couple of highly interesting trips: Gibraltar was a treat, Dolphin and Whale Watching/Safari ( a scientific project with an introduction and two hours´ sailing close to the African coastline) from the most southern Spanish town of Tarifa, east of Gibraltar, took us all by our hearts, see www.firmm.org , notice that the telephone numbers on the website may be wrong!
We made our way to several impressive pueblo blancos: Cazares, Ojen, Ronda and many more, and as our most outstanding and longest trip: the town of Granada to see the Alhambra, which deeply impressed both the older and the younger generation. It was certainly worth the long driving.
We enjoyed the pools set in beautiful surroundings, relaxed and read books on the balconies, felt at home in the flat, we fully recommend it and consider seriously coming back since we missed Sevila this time.
Your appartment rental was just perfect. At the first moment we felt very comfortable. The appertment provides a lot of excellent amenities. In particular,
the two large balconies overlooking the Sea in addition to separate baths for each bedroom, was just great.
Worth mentioning is also the splendid view to watch the sunrise over the sea, it is breathtaking.
We must also mention the private garage space beneath the building. This made access in and out of the appartment
very easy and provided a peace of mind where to park.

Must also comment on the availability of lounges, sun umbrellas and the many appliances which came with the rental.
The swimming pool was perfect for a swim, also a bit cool at the time of our stay.
The appartment is centrally located, this makes it easy to drive to Malaga, to Gibraltar or the back country in a short time.

Loved the location of this apartment and the views. Very spacious place and actually felt more like a house as on 2 levels. Underground carpark is great and very convenient, and I would recommend a car to anyone staying here as the hill is steep to the beach, and can be managed but would be wearing over any period of time.
There are various shops, bars and restaurants within 5 minutes drive and there are loads of places to go- Estepona (love the old town), Puerto Banus (posh shops), Marbella (again see the old town), Tavira (for dolphin and whale watching), Water Park within 40 minutes, Sotogrande (again posh area with great beaches) and Ronda (amazing town).
The pools for the kids (and us) were great with baby pools and major pools to dive in so our 4 boys were very happy.

Arrived late at night but was greeted warmly and welcomed to the property. Spacious home with lovely sea views, good weather, lots of sunshine. Love the markets in Estapona and Sabanillas. Spacious property 3 bedroom 3 bathroom, large balconies. Ideal if you like your own space. Kitchen facilities good, beds very comfortable so could recommend to anyone.
An excellent apartment fully equipped with great sunrise and sunset views of the sea and the mountains. A very secure place with a convenient car parking. Supermarkets and restaurants easy to get to. Very enjoyable beach walks nearby with friendly chringuitos for lunches etc. We visited Picasso museum in Malaga, roman ruins near Ronda and Tariffa, historic Seville (lovely city), Gibralter and Granada (overnight stay). All very interesting and worth doing.
Would certainly recommend the apartment if one is visiting the costa del sol region.

The property was in an excellent location with wonderful sea views. We were very impressed with the layout and the facilities at the accommodation. It had every home comfort that you could wish for and more than exceeded the listing description. The swimming pool was an added bonus and it was great to take a dip after a day out exploring the area. There was so much to see and 1 week was really not enough time to visit all the nearby sights. We would not hesitate in staying here again and would recommend this property to any of our friends or families.
The development 'Terrazas de la Bahia' is on the hillside at Casares Costa (or Bahia de Casares), just off the main coastal road 6km west of Estepona. Further west, within a couple of minutes drive (or a lovely beach walk), is the town of Sabinillas and the pretty port at La Duquesa both with a huge variety of restaurants, cafes and bars. 14km inland is the much photographed white pueblo of Casares known as the 'Hanging Village'. This part of the coast is much less developed but well connected by the coastal road and the motorway. Estepona, Casares and Sabinillas remain refreshingly traditional Spanish villages. It is a 45-60 minute drive from Malaga airport, 30 minutes from Gibraltar airport and 1 1/2 hours drive from Jerez airport.
The new Finca Cortesin golfcourse - home of the Volvo World Match play championship is within a kilometre of the apartment. Many other high quality golf courses are within a few minutes drive.

Payment can be in either pounds or euros. The apartment is normally available from 4pm on day of arrival and we ask it is vacated by 10am on the day of departure. We will try to accommodate early arrivals and late departures subject to other bookings. A deposit of 25% will be requested to secure a booking with the balance due 4 weeks before departure. A security deposit of £150 is requested.
