I fell in love with this flat because of the high ceilings, it's over 3,30 m, cosy and charming easy acess, only 4 steps up. After a long day out it's nice. Note : often in the old town the holiday apartments are 4- 5 floors up with no lift.
Lovely tasteful & homely apartment in an area close to the railway station & also approximately 15 mins walk from the main shopping area, Ave Jean de Medecin & the restaurants & smaller shops of rue Massena plus the Promenade des Anglais & Hotel Negresco. Found the owner, Berta to be very friendly & helpful especially when we arrived much later than expected due to delay in arrival times, & got dropped off in an unfamiliar area when she walked to meet us & escort us to the apartment. I would certainly recommend this apartment & hope to stay again on our next visit to Nice.
Having stayed at this particular apartment many times I have no hesitation in recommending it to others. Everything is finished to a great standard from the lovely wood floor to the brand new kitchen. I especially enjoy the location, ideally located for the beach (just a short stroll) or shopping at the Avenue Jean Médecin (SEPHORA!!!).
Also close is the lovely Old Town where anybody can happily get lost for hours.
Having the train station close by is also fantastic as it makes it easy to take day trips to neighbouring towns!
Have always had a smooth transaction with the owner so highly recommended!!!!
My wife and I staid in this very nice flat last summer for a week. The neighbourhood is quiet and in a good central location where everthing you can possibly think of is walking distance away, with the beach just 5-10 minutes down the road. The flat was clean and decorated to a high standard with everything you need. We would certainly recommend this flat to anyone and we are looking forward to going back in the very near future.
Great location in the heart of Nice’s chic “Musicians quarter’. It will take you only 15-20 min. from the airport to get here and the cost 6 Euro with the airport bus (stops at train station) and 30 Euro by taxi. Walking distance to the beach, walk straight down our street Berlioz for 6-7 min. and you are at the Famous Hotel Negresco, cross over the famous beach street 'Promenade des Anglais’ and you are on the pebble beach of the Baie des Anges (the Bay of Angels), the azure blue waters of the Mediterranean, and the famous Promenade des Anglais, 7km long. Beach life starts early in the morning; before-breakfast swimmers. The La Gare SNCF (train/bus station) is 2 min. away from the apartment. The trendy and quaint Old Town famous for its “Cours Saleya” flower/ fruit and vegetable market and Antiques on Mondays is 15 min. walk away. You are also ideally placed to enjoy Monaco’s Grand Prix, Cannes Film Festival.
Other Activities: Just down the road on the beach is' Water Sport', great fun and excitement!
Ski: Isola2000, Valberg, Auron.
