This modern apartment was completely renovated in the end of 2010. The historical building remains its Pombalino construction for more than two hundred years (1780). The apartment has a cozy living room with dining area, an fully equipped kitchen with bar table, one suite (double bed) with a private bathroom, an additional bathroom and 1 further bedroom (2 single bed). From the kitchen you can access a small balcony (there can be smoked). All rooms have double glass windows and central heating. The apartment is very good for groups or families. The localization is very central in the old town of Lisbon in the district 'Baixa', you can walk to any place of the centre of Lisbon or you can choose to take one of the many public transportations of that area and be a nature friend. From there you can reach the beache by bus or train within 15-30 minutes. The apartment has Internet WIFI and cable TV. Local Maps will be offered.

The apartment is a pearl: cozy, furnished and equipped with love. It is perfectly situated for discovering Lisbon or trips in any directions. The hosts are reliable, taking time for introduction and giving helpful tips.
We spent an inspiring but same time exhausting week: It would have been necessary to inform us in advance about two construction works, in and in front of our house. To expect us starting the days totally destroyed because we were awakened by huge stereo noise, having breakfast with it, was an impertinence. After complaining Martin provided another property same block / two doors down which was a little bit better but cost us a precious holiday due to moving action.
Even if working constructions are not your fault: selling a defect product (a holiday flat that includes stress) / renting it out without telling / trying to charge full money is just non-serious.
The flat is spacious, stylishly furnished and well-equipped. Within easy walking distance of restaurants, main squares, metro, trams and Rossio railway station.
We enjoyed our stay in the diva apartment. The location in the old lisbon city center was top! The apartment was spacious and very quiet and warm for those nippy evenings. The minor suggestions for improvement are: washcloths, a cutting board in the kitchen and english tv (or something other than German) The building seemed very safe, but a slide lock or interior key lock would provide peace of mind.
All in all a lovely place to stay with everything within walking distance.
Would definetly return and recommend to friends.
The location of the apartment was ideal, right in the center of the Baixa.
Very clean and in perfect review conditions.
Great interior design, very nice.
Costumer service was exquisite and very friendly.
I love Brazilian Cafe just around the apartment.
Cascais and Guincho beach, beautiful!
Lisbon is to enjoy quietly.
After Lisbon, we spent a few days in Ericeira, up in the north, perfect.
I love Portugal, its culture and its people...
We arrived on a warm July evening in Lisbon to extraordinary light breezes flowing through this wonderful apartment. The photos can barely do justice to this apartment. Elegantly furnished and crisp. Stefanie met us with a warm smile and a little tour and a small welcome gift was greatly appreciated. New appliances mixing with old world charm. Maybe an odd note but the modern windows allowed for night long lovely breezes while feeling secure and snug.
This apartment is walking distance to all the major central Lisbon sites. Start your morning with a walk to the river or the castle and finish your day with a quick 5 minute walk up to Chiado and terrific restaurants like Taberna Do Chiado. If you are wanting a quick bite closer to home skip the restaurants with the "menu men" outside on the streets nearby and enjoy one of the restaurants on the apartment's street. We tried the Indian and Italian and both were good.
We can't wait to return.
The appartment Diva 4 has exellent beds, two very nice bathrooms and a kitchen with everything you could wish for.
Everything is very clean and well cared for.
It is right in the centre of the city - couldn´t be more convenient.
We spent a very pleasant week and can absolutely recommend the appartment.
There are lots and lots of restaurants in the area - but be careful!
Several of them are very expensive without being good!
We can recommend the small italian/ indian restaurant in the same street as the appartment, close to the big square. It is actually two restaurants, one of each side of the street, but they work together. They make very good food and provide very good service at a very low price!
Avoid restraurants where the waiter comes running after you in the street. They are often not very good, according to our experience!
Activities we enjoyed very much: A boat trip on the river, a day in Alfama walking the steep and narow streets, a visit to the castle with a most wonderful view over the city, a day in Belem and the monestary there, a train-trip to Sintra - the most charming and beautiful village with a castle that looks like something from Disneyland - bus and tram-rides around Lisbon city, the street elevators, a visit to the Expo 98 area.... There are so many things to see, and the city itself is beautiful.
In the old city center of Lisbon, near the castle and the chamber of the city, you can find a magnific place surrounded by the city river 'Tejo' and one of the most beautiful cities that the Atlantic Coast can offer you, Lisbon. A city full of history and epic places to visit, since the time of the Portuguese Discoveries, it is rich in culture and life. Known as the city of the seven hills, you can lost yourself in the typical quarters of Lisbon and eat really good fish in the fantastic Fish-Restaurants in Restauradores square. But, if you want you can also go and take advantage of the good beaches of the Lisbon Coast. Near the building you can find many little cafes and restaurants where you can rest and taste the excellent portuguese food and sweets.Adress: Baixa de Lisboa
