Super Home in a super location near Kona!
This property is as nice as it states and appears in pictures on the website. We had a wonderful time at this 'luxury' property and hope to come back again. Beautiful home with views of the ocean from all over the house, and all the amenities you would want to have fun, relax, and enjoy time in paradise. :-) Location is terrific as close to town (could walk in as approx.1 mile away), and great snorkeling beach is only couple miles down the road. Highly recommend this home if you want a place to have privacy but be close to lots of options for dining, entertainment, and activities including shopping. Net, was all we had hoped for and more!

Wonderful Holiday Vacation with the family!
This house is pristine and has a charm not conveyed in pictures. The grounds make the property absolutely top-notch with the pool/hot tub and koi pond centerpieces along with a quiet rarely found along Alii Drive. The pounding of the surf combined with the waterfalls of the pool and koi pond are wonderfully relaxing sounds compared to the traffic noise found at many homes this close to downtown. Bliss cannot be captured in pictures!
Everything worked in the house and the kitchen is well equipped for most any family gathering. The gas grill got plenty of use as did the wonderful outdoor dining table. Lastly, the outdoor shower was a big hit!
Surrounded by the beauty of the Big Island, one is tempted to remain "home" and enjoy the simple, peaceful beauty of this property. We have rented some wonderful homes across the globe and around the islands over the years ... this one is, without hesitation, one of the very best!

The home is exactly as pictured if not better! The koi pond was an extra special surprise to enjoy seeing the fish each morning. Our family so enjoyed coffee on the cabana each morning with surprise daily dolphin visits. The round dining table is the perfect setting for a large family to enjoy dinner in instead of going out each night. I highly recommend this property for rental - thank you Kim for all your help!
Now I'm Spoiled...
This is a gorgeous property! Excellent, private, gated, end of lane location. Beautiful sunsets every evening of our stay and a couple of dolphin sightings too! Grounds are beautifully kept...koi pond with peaceful water sounds in addition to the sound of waves crashing on lava beach. Nice little steps over the wall behind the hot tub, which I finally used the last day and enjoyed walking on the lava & watching the waves hit the shore.
The highlight of my day was pushing open the walls of glass doors each morning...opening the house up completely to the sounds of the outdoors. What a beautiful house! I love the great room ceiling & lanterns! There's plenty of seating for 8+(and also dishes, platters, cups, utensils & towels for bath & beach.) Each bathroom had a bottle of shampoo & body wash, which I didn't expect, but was a nice touch. I do think it would be nice if there were a few pantry items left in the kitchen. There was only salt & pepper. As another reviewer wrote, there are tiny ants on the kitchen counter, but we outsmarted them by storing everything in the oven, microwave or refrigerators. We wiped before and after preparing food & took the trash out at least once daily. No big deal. The counters are a beautiful feature of the kitchen (as is the open shelving, self closing drawers throughout the house, and the light up marble(?) wall in the kitchen)! I really appreciated the mix of natural materials throughout the house. So any downside to this property? Only that I didn't want to leave it! So I saw very little of the Big Island! I wanted to spend my entire vacation on the property! I was quite happy on a lounge by the back wall, watching the ocean... I suppose I will have to go back to see what I missed someday! This property is maybe a mile from restaurants, shops & sand beaches in both directions. Costco & the airport are close, easy drives too. I would definitely recommend renting this property for your trip to the Big Island. Kim was easy to reach via text & email whenever we needed anything. Thanks, Kim!
Amazing place! Quiet and beautiful, a great combo for staying in Kona.
We have a toddler and would have liked a tub. The bugs that live in the countertop were prolific. Totally not deal breakers, great place, would stay here again!!
