Welcome to Eagle Point at Lake Adger. As my guest, my goal is to provide an atmosphere of genuine comfort in a warm, relaxed yet refined log cabin where good memories can be made. Pictured here with my two sons.
Why Alicia chose Mill Spring
Purchased property in 1998 to camp, swim, canoe, and fish on with my family and black lab. Log cabin built in 2007 by Seay Construction.
What makes this Cabin unique
Peaceful and serene four season log cabin on wooded lot within easy driving distance from Charlotte, Asheville and Greenville/Spartanburg SC. Favorite time of day - late afternoon sunset over sparkling water. "Sparkle Time"! Our sanctuary in the woods. Near all the local treasures.

Paradise on Earth
Tired, bedraggled from professional duties, my partner and I turned the lock to enter the "cabin." "Cabin" does not do the space justice. The rental is a home, tastefully appointed with artful touches, replete with furniture (I believe it is Amish hand made?) shaped by warm lines and lovingly placed to create soul friendly space--namely, thoughtfully created to foster togetherness time. The interior and exterior of the home are natural wood, adding to the genuine and welcoming ambiance of the locale. Then there is the walk to the lake at the front edge of the property, complete with everything you'd ever want for water fun. Equally complete is the interior, and I can't think of anything a renter would desire that is not included in the home. Oh, yes, there's the screened-in porch where we copiously sat simply taking in the quiet of nature and the shimmering water of the lake, occasionally holding our breath as a doe and her fawns elegantly sauntered by. Short drives from the homestead are funky small mountain towns and local produce, plus a supermarket that just vibrates with class. My favorite short day trip was visiting the Carl Sandburg home in Flat Rock, NC. You will feel the man's creative spirit and It will further open your hearts to the poetry of the mountains and lakes that make up the areas around Mill Spring. So there we were entering the home, my partner walked in first. Her initial exclamation says it all, "Oh, I love this place, I can't believe how beautiful it is."
Great getaway, great cabin, great place to rent!
This was a great place to stay, had a lot of detailed touches that many places lack when you go to stay. The location was good, the property was excellent especially the water area with dock, firepit, kayaks, etc all available! The one tiny detail I will mention - and it is not a deterrent- just a suggestion - is that the cofffee maker is a Keurig coffee maker - which there were some pods provided, which was fine for two people for two days - but if it were a bigger party they may need to know that in advance to bring proper kind of coffee. That is probably the only complaint I can think of for the entire place. I recommed this place highly and my family and I look forward to hopefully staying there again soon !!
Excellent stay, Peaceful
Quiet, peaceful time away from home. Family enjoyed kayaking and jumping from Frog rock. We felt like the entire lake was ours. Property was as described and anything we forgot to bring was already there.
Great family vacation
We couldn't have been happier with our stay. The house had everything we needed to feel at home and the location was just beautiful. The lake was wonderful and we enjoyed using the kayaks and just hanging out on the dock in the cute chairs. We are a family of 5 and the layout worked out perfectly for us. We had a great week!
Quiet Lake and Beautiful Property
The pics are great on the website,, but the property is even better in person
