4 Bedroom, 3 Bath, Huge Kitchen And Lots Of Living Space And A Sandy Shoreline
About Stacey Angell
We are a family who enjoys boating, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, and pretty much anything that involves sports. We have found that getting away to the lake anytime can be rejuvenating.
Stacey Angell purchased this Cabin in 2013
Why Stacey Angell chose Deerwood
We were looking for a place on a well known, clear, fishing lake with fun amenities for the family and we fell in love with this property.
What makes this Cabin unique
Everything you need for the week you can find in the cabin. Dishes, pots/pans, washer/dryer, towels, etc. The cabin is on the lake and the view is amazing. Don't be surprised if the eagle soars by you while sitting on the dock and enjoying the view. The fire-pit is also near the lake, so you can enjoy talking around the fire and looking over the lake at the same time.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Family Fun On The Lake
It was almost prefect for our family trip. Spacious home, great location right on the lake and close to shopping and golfing! Great for family yard games and bon fires. Unfortunately there are only a few things that need improvement. I know I’m picky but a bath towels, a better job on cleaning and more coffee cups... there were only 3 cups for 7 ppl would have made it a 5 out of 5!
We had a great time while staying here. It was clean, easy to find and conveniently located. The large house gave us ample room for everyone so we never felt crowded. We thought the accommodations were great and communicating with the owners was easy. And our grandsons caught fish! We would stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay. The owners responded quickly to our needs. The home was clean and had plenty of space for 7 adults to be comfortable. Good fishing on the lake. We would definitely return again!
We love this cabin/house!!!
We have stayed here for 3 years now and our grandsons (3 and 6) refer to it as their cabin!
We hope to continue coming back! It is absolutely perfect for our family.
We had plenty of room for adult and teenage children. Nice lake to boat. Close to grocery store and great restaurant.
4th of July
This was the second time we spent the 4th of July at
Crosby. Its a fun place to spend the 4th. The parade, flotilla and fireworks on lake made the day fun. The house, however, is beginning to show disrepair. The deck was peeling so badly we couldn't be barefoot or the paint peelings would stick to our feet and drag in house. Our only other complaint was all the mounted animals on the walls. I disapprove of trophy hunting and some of them were scary looking. The kitchen/living area had 6-7 animals, and the lower level had 3-4, including a full standing black bear. We did have fun though and the house has lots of room for everyone.
There is a huge public beach with an awesome play area for the kids located only 2 miles in the town of Crosby. Have your picture taken by the iconic Serpent sculpture to remember your trip by. Grab a bite to eat in town at the Pizza place, Subway, hometown cafes, sports bars. Rent a redbox from the local gas stations. Grab groceries from the local supermarket only 1 mile away. Watch a movie at the theater in Aitkin. Play a round of golf at Rutgers located only a few miles away. Feeling lucky? Try your luck at Grand Casino located within half an hour from the cabin.
