|Minimum Stay||4 - 10 nights|
We stayed here for 5 nights to ski, it was more than enough space for 1 couple and 2 adults, easily could have slept 6 people (one person on the sofa which was very big and comfortable). On our arrival, the accommodation was spotless and had a modern but also welcoming atmosphere.
The owners were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area, they recommended a shop for reasonably priced ski equipment hire, nearby supermarkets, etc.
The beds and sofa were comfortable and there was sufficient kitchen utensils, cutlery, plates etc for self-catering for more than 4 adults. All the kitchen appliances such as dishwasher, fridge, freezer were perfectly adequate. The only thing we wished we had brought along with us was a non-stick frying pan which we bought at a local supermarket for only 18 euros.
The Wifi was very fast and there was also satellite TV.
During busy periods it maybe necessary to park a short distance from the apartment but would not have been a major inconvenience.
It was great value for money given the space, cleanliness and comfy beds. We would definitely recommend it to others and possibly go back for summer.
We rented the two bedroom apt. for our family vacation (2 adults and 1 child). We had more than enough room and I couldn't get over how clean and warm the apartment was. The apartment is spotless, well-appointed, very spacious and is fully equipped with everything necessary, exactly as described and pictured. Wireless internet, as well as parking is very good. The owners are dedicated to ensuring you have a wonderful experience. The location is great and we will definitely return.
We stayed at this apartment for seven nights and found it totally relaxing and very enjoyable.
The apartment is very clean and has everything you need to help make it a great experience. Christine is very welcoming and speaks very good English - she spent time settleling you in and was kind and helpful throughout the holiday (she also left a gift of a bottle of wine and a jar of homemade jam!!).
The apartment is on the ground floor with a sunny patio area and access to a small garden. You have lovely distant views of the mountains. It is in a small quiet cul de sac and is on the very edge of town but still within minutes of the shops and restaurants. Parking at the front and all towels, bedding etc is provided.
There is a 4* star hotel nearby for that special meal and nearby is a lovely walking area but you can take the car to the top where you find a lake and a great small restaurant/cafe.
In the town near the Tourist Information Centre is a lovely park which also has free music every evening and some afternoons from May through to October - very well worth a visit!!
A great holiday and a lovely place to stay.
There was 4 of us that stayed in this apartment and we loved it! Everything about it was great. The place was very nice, comfortable and spacious. It had everything we needed and more. I loved the location of this place and if you like to walk, you could walk to the shopping area in about 20 minutes. Truly a gem, we would like to stay here again, it made our vacation even better.
I highly recommend this apartment. It is in a quiet residential area of Garmisch. Gorgeous views. The hostess make you feel welcome. Perfect size for a family of 4-5. We will return.
