About Ora Solomon
I grew up in Milan, in this apartment. I have been living in the US since 1996. My Mom was living in the apartment till recently. She remodeled it and decided to rent it out.
Ora Solomon purchased this Apartment in 1984
Why Ora Solomon chose Cerchia dei navigli
This is a wonderful apartment in a small building. The location is one of the most exclusive in the city.
What makes this Apartment unique
The apartment is in the heart of Milano, close not only to the Duomo, la Scala theater, the Basilica of Sant'Ambrogio and more. It is in a small building, on a small road. You can see roman ruins out the window. It is a great base to explore from, shop, eat and do business. You can walk to trams and the M1 and M2 subway lines.

Short stay with family
Property is as advertised. Very clean and comfortable. Washer and dryer were helpful. Grocery store is two minute walk. Google maps does not show the proper location of the apartment. We had a lot of trouble finding it using Google maps. Dani was helpful with directions. Easy 15 minutes walk to Duomo (or less). Host helped with taxi reservations when needed. 8 steps up to get to very small elevator. Apt is only one floor up usin* elevator. Easy with carry on luggage, some effort with lots of big luggage but plenty of room once in apt. We would stay there again.
Great apartment in great location
Spacious place accommodated our family of 5 easily (3 teenage kids). Great location. Walk to Duomo, subway, shopping. Great restaurants close-by.
Spacious But Old Apartment with a Great Location
The apartment is spacious, bright and in a great location but evidence exists throughout that it has been lived in for a long time. It was clean and nothing was broken but it was reflective of its age. Dani met us when we arrived and proved to be very helpful and responsive during our stay.
Beautiful apartment in an excellent location
Wonderful three bedroom apartment on a side street. It is a 15 minute walk to the Duomo, Castle and train station. There is a parking garage 5 minutes away. Very close to many great restaurants (Felice) and little coffee shops. The kitchen is fully equipped. Perfect location for seeing all the sights in Milan but being in a quiet neighborhood away from the tourist traps. We were extremely pleased with our stay.
so glad you enjoyed your stay! I love Felice too, it's a new addition to the neighborhood. We hope your travels take you back to Milan!
Perfect in Milan!
Spacious and clean apartment with everything we needed. The inside was reminiscent of grandmother’s comforting home! Truly convenient to EVERYTHING! Cathedral, restaurants, wonderful shopping just steps away! Ora and Dani were WONDERFUL! They were responsive and helpful and so patient with our questions! This was our first time overseas so we had lots of questions. Dani helped us out with everything while there! Would stay again in a heartbeat.
So glad you enjoyed your stay! Please come visit again!
Fabulous central location!
This property delivers on every promise. The location is within walking distance of every attraction in central Milano and also close (10-15 min walk) to an underground station and train station.
Dani, the property manager, was friendly and helpful when we arrived - he even provided fresh fruit for us. We weren’t able to take him up on his offer of a free massage, but if time allowed I would have without hesitation!
The space in this flat is very gracious. There are two large bedrooms and one rather small one with bunk beds which easily accommodated myself, my sister, my mom and my aunt. The beds were firm but comfortable. The one and a half bathrooms were great - both had very nice lighting for getting ready in the morning. Also, the washer and dryer worked well and were nice to have. We didn’t eat in much so I can’t say much about the kitchen, but it seemed to have all the necessities.
All in all, I would highly recommend this lovely flat for anyone traveling to Milano!
so glad you enjoyed your stay! Come back anytime :)
Via Circo is in the historical heart of the city. You should see the Duomo, the Teatro la Scala (you can get last minute tickets for 5 Euros!), the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, Basilica of Sant'Ambrogio, Santa Maria delle Grazie (where you can see the Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci). All these are within a 10-15 minute walk. You can also walk to via Montenapoleone and via Spiga for designer shopping.
Discover your favorite bar (I recommend Cucchi, in Corso Genova), bakery and small restaurant from this lovely apartment.
