Very comfortable and well appointed apartment in convenient location. Easy access to the subway.
Jake was easy to get ahold of and friendly. We also appreciated the elevators! The rooms were spacious and clean with plenty of towels. Great place. Thanks
We had a really nice time
My sister and I really enjoyed our time in NYC and in Jake’s apt. It’s in a great location, close to several subway lines, and all types of restaurants and businesses. A few blocks from Chinatown and several coffee shops, including Starbucks, are right there. Key exchange and luggage storage with City Copilot (2 blocks away) worked fine. The apartment is perfect for two people and easy to find. Enough utensils in the kitchen but just the basics. Lots of teas and condiments. It’s on the 5th floor. Entry and elevator work great. WiFi fast. Never used TV. Bathroom fine. Place is clean. Bed and pullout couch comfy. It’s is a busy area so for sure there is street noise, But hey that is New York. Just play some music or run the fan for white
noise and you’ll be fine. I felt that this was true NY living like the locals and enjoyed this more than some sterile hotel. I also strongly recommend the MTA app for subways. I would have been lost without it.
Great location, everything you need for a memorable holiday.
Jake was a good communicator - the photos are accurate and the space very pleasant to stay in. Though small, the apartment has everything you need - fully equipped kitchen, comfy couch, big bathroom and a comfy bed too. Great views to surrounding buildings - the windows ensure the space feels larger than it really is. Is great for a single, or couple - more people might be abit too cosy. The apartment itself and the building are clean, with a lift and a laundry in the basement. The location is the best thing about it - LES > great bars and restaurants, easy walk to Chinatown, SoHo, East Village and a subway station to go Uptown.
Great for 3; great neighborhood
This was a good fit for us - a couple and a 9 year old. The apartment was clean, has great big windows that let in a lot of light, and big enough. We loved the neighborhood too. We would stay here again.
great location, easy to access
Jake's place is cozy, with easy access to great restaurants, transportation and fun stuff. If you are a fan of Chinatown and all it holds, then you are in the right place. Walk north on Orchard and you have your pick of boutiques, brunch, and night spots.
That said, Delancey street is loud and busy, doubtless the way it has always been. But getting to sleep at night requires that you acclimatize to the noise or get ear plugs.
It was really fun staying in the LES and Jake was easy to reach and very helpful.
Great neighborhood , lovely, comfortable, sunny apartment with great windows.
We really enjoyed our stay and would come back again.
Glad you enjoyed your stay and I would totally have you back again. I felt like I went the extra mile and was always there when you needed something. That and it sure seemed like you loved the apartment, so I'm a little surprised by only 4 stars, but that's okay. Thank you for being wonderful guests and I wish you the best.
Neighborhood is extraordinarily hip and fun. • Tons of the newest clubs, restaurants and bars • Right next to Soho, East Village/Alphabet City, and Chinatown • Within 3-5 blocks of 3 subway lines (4/5/6, F/V, B/D) • Perfect view of the Empire State Building
