This clean, neatly furnished condo on the west side of Ouray is located in a quiet complex just across from the Uncompaghre River. The complex is located approximately one mile from downtown Ouray. If you like to walk, the Riverwalk Trail is just across the road from the complex, and the trail will take you to the Hot Springs Pool and Park, and then you can walk another few blocks into the heart of downtown Ouray. You can also walk the river road to 7th Avenue and on to Main Street.
Cliff Top is a one-story condo, located one level up, above the unit's garage that is available to guests. There is also parking for a second vehicle in front of the garage.
The condo has two bedrooms, one with a queen and the other with two twins. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room. The condo has in-floor radiant heat to keep those toes warm in winter! A convenient gas fireplace provides additional coziness to the living area.
Cliff Top has two decks with mountain views -- one in front with a built-in bench, and a covered deck off the kitchen with a gas grill and small table and chairs. You can almost reach out and touch the mountain from the back deck!
Cliff Top is affordably priced - and PETS ARE WELCOME with payment of a non-refundable pet fee. The condo will provide a peaceful getaway place for your stay in Ouray!

ABOUT THE AREA: You will want to spend several days in beautiful Ouray County. Ouray, which is known as the "Switzerland of America," is nestled in a small valley with 360-degree views of 12,000-14,000 mountains. Ridgway, nicknamed the "Gateway to the San Juans," is just 10 miles from Ouray and is well-known as the place where the John Wayne movie "True Grit" was filmed. Many of the movie set's buildings are still used today by local businesses. These two historic towns offer a variety of activities: restaurants, shops, museums, galleries, hot springs pools, jeep rentals, hiking, fishing and boating -- the list goes on and on! Day trips to Silverton, Telluride and Durango are fun as well.
Ouray is also often called "The Jeeping Capital of the World" because of its many trails through the high country (rated easy to rugged), popular for 2-wheel and 4-wheel off road vehicles.
Golf is available at beautiful Divide Ranch Golf Club located on Log Hill Mesa just above Ridgway, offering panoramic mountain views. Telluride and Montrose also have golf courses.
Ouray and Ridgway both offer local markets, and you can find larger stores like City Market, Safeway, Target and Walmart in Montrose, a flat, easy drive 35 miles from Ouray, 25 miles from Ridgway.
No matter how long you decide to stay, you will find yourself wanting to come back again and again to Ouray County, one of the most beautiful places on earth!
Beautiful setting and views, convenient to everything we wanted to do, comfortable and roomy!
We were in Ouray for the Mt. Sneffels half-marathon and this was a great location for that. The route passed right by the condo so I could dump my extra layer and my husband could easily come outside to cheer me on. This condo is in a good location with just a short walk to town. The unit was clean and had ample kitchen supplies. We also loved that they allowed us to bring our dogs (for a fee). Our only complaint was the master bed. It was a full-sized mattress and, we thought, uncomfortable. The other thing we did not like (and this has nothing to do with the condo) is that the day we arrived, the sprinklers were on all afternoon and shut off that evening. We thought it was irresponsible use of an important resource. Irrigate at night and not nearly that long!
