Large Oak Post And Beam Home With Large Yard , Five Bedrooms And Four Baths
About Steven Clark
A 12th generation cape codder built this home to raise our family. The children are grown and we built a smaller empty nest home that we now reside in.
Why Steven Clark chose West Chatham
The property is located in a secluded yet connected wooded area that abuts the cape cod rail trail chatham bike trail section. The property allows for a restfull vacation yet close to all the beaches and activities of chatham and cape cod.
What makes this Estate unique
Direct access to cape rail trail and close to all chatham south side beaches
Canceled bookings will not receive a refund
Great home - in the middle of it all
This property is beautiful, clean, and larger than my family expected. It's close to everything we wanted to do: beach, fishing, rail trail, A's baseball, and downtown. We had a great week!
Thank you! we are glad you had a great time and hope you can stay with us another time!
This house delivered everything it promise. Great location for our family.
Plenty of space. Some little things that are important to our family were the dining room table that seats 10; the deck tables, when put together, seated all of us too. The grill was great. The large clothes line was put to use everyday. The location was perfect for our family. We love Hardings and Ridgevale Beaches, Larry's PX, Schoolhouse Ice Cream Shop and Marion's Pie Shop.
The house was clean and very well equipped.
We are glad you enjoyed another stay in our rental home.
Rustic-antique beautiful house which takes you back in time ! It’s so beautiful and unique.
Awesome property, the home has the rustic country decor and is tastefully decorated with very specific attention to detail . The house is loaded with all amenities for entertainment from the 80’s and 90’s ! It’s like an antique treasure house.
Kitchen and laundry was fully loaded and rooms were sparkling clean . We reached when the weather was bad and we couldn’t step out so all we did was stayed in and enjoyed the lovely home! Thanks for letting us stay in your lovely home !! The owner was very accommodating and let us bring our small dog. The owner helped us with details ahead of our stay and address related details as the home doesn’t feature in regular GPS maps . Can’t say enough to do justice to this lovely home , you have to go there and experience it for yourself!!
Fantastic stay in Chatham!
Steve & Stephanie, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your W Chatham home! We had two families and one grandparent (9 total) and the house was spacious for all of us to enjoy - and not be on top of each other. The large deck was especially nice in the evening for grilling and dinner outside. And our 4 kids loved s'mores nightly at the fire pit. The home was well stocked with all that we needed - including pillows & comforters (which we brought just in case). The kitchen had plenty of items to use for our meals in. We especially enjoyed that the house was very well maintained and VERY clean. The basement movie room was great for the kids - plenty of games and movies for all ages. Thank you - we had an awesome 11 days at your property - we'll definitely be back.
We are so happy you enjoyed your stay.....
Spacious, comfortable & clean house with lots of living space & outdoor deck space w/ furniture
The house comfortably accommodated our family who were up on the Cape for a wedding weekend. There are plenty of places to sit & relax in the house & the kitchen & dining area is large & well-stocked with anything you might need. The house is clean & well appointed with up-to-date appliances & nicely designed, open kitchen.
There are two very large master bedrooms, one of which is off by itself. That said, we noticed that sound travels easily in the house; this is particularly so in the other second floor queen bedroom - it has an open ceiling so the noise from first floor living space is quite audible. There is also a bedroom with 2 twin beds as well as space to sleep in basement although we did not use that area at all.
We did have a minor problem finding the house since it appears to now be on a new road - we had thought the address was 39 Aunt Zilpa's Road extension (address on the lease) but there was no such address to be found. The house is entered off an unpaved road & is marked as #42. The house address appears to be on Edgewood Circle which begins at the end of paved road of Edgewood Drive.
All in all, this is a very nice house. It's close to the bike path & not far off from Rte 28 with shops & places to eat. We would certainly recommend it as a great place to stay with a large family.
We had an excellent family reunion at this beautiful and comfortable home.
Beautiful, comfortable home and close to Chatham beaches. Perfect for our family reunion at Thanksgiving. Kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. I will definitely consider renting it again.
Please enter the house via the new access road: Edgewood Circle. Use Katie Ford Road, to Northwood, to Edgewood Road, to Edgewood Circle.
