We are from the Cincinnati Ohio area. Dunedin Florida has always been our favorite vacation spot, so we decided to purchase a vacation home there.
Steve Crowthers purchased this cottage in 2013
We have always been drawn to Dunedin because of its beautiful allure and vast amount of activities.
This property is centrally located in Delightful Dunedin Florida and has very easy access to all Gulf Coast and Tampa/St. Petersburg beaches and attractions.
Great rental house in Dunedin. Close to shops on Main. Interior updated with new kitchen, bathroom, etc. Enjoyed our stay here. Huge living room, dining room seats 6, 2BR, 1Bath, very clean. Pictures are current. Big back yard. Sofa very comfortable. Quiet street. Minutes from Dunedin Causeway. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is it only has 1 bathroom and the beds could've been a little more comfortable--but that's personal preference. Would stay here again. It was really nice!
Beautiful house furnished with top-of-the line kitchen and laundry appliances. A shed full of bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs- even a styrofoam cooler. All of this situated on a lovely piece of property shaded by the biggest tree in Florida. An easy walk to a whole foods store, a bagel shop and a popular restaurant. We loved it!
Stayed with another couple...I was concerned that the cottage would be to crowded, based on looking at pictures...pleasantly surprised at the living area space, the cottage is 50 feet deep.Great side yards and lots of talk about the "tree". We were there to take in some spring training baseball and liked that we could walk to the park as well as to a different restaurant each evening. We enjoyed three days at Clearwater beach...beautiful and not crazy busy.Awesome sunsets.Great stay and value for the money and I would recommend.
We were very pleased with the cottage. It was very clean and the new appliances were great. The location makes it convenient to walk to town or the marina. Can't wait to return next year and stay even longer. Anyone looking to stay in Dunedin should check the cottage out. It has nice yard to go with it.
Steve and Mary,
It was a pleasure meeting you both. Yes, real pleasure, since you both are such impressive, talented individuals. Mary, I think you could overhaul a car engine, if you put your mind to it. Loved watching you work and accepting your graciousness as you explained things to us.
Of all the VRBO rentals we have experienced in the past, the Dunedin Cottage was the best accommodation we had ever experienced, so we were thrilled with the facility! The updating and refurbishing of this older house was done with exquisite taste. The kitchen was beautiful with the large stainless steel refrigerator and dishwasher; also the beautiful granite countertops were appreciated. Ellie loved the washer and dryer, since we had never seen units as nice as these which made the clothes ultra soft. The patio and back yard was private and impressive with the huge Florida Oak domineering the area. I measured the circumference at 21.5 feet, which means the trunk was about 7 feet in diameter. Wow!
The only fault we found with our week's stay there was the mattress in the north bedroom. After trying it, we decided to sleep in the other bedroom which had a wonderful mattress.
We are a senior-aged couple from Minnesota who hope we can come back again at another time, since we appreciated the Dunedin Cottage so much. Our friends who have a condo in Dunedin said that if they had visiting friends from a distance, they will keep this rental in mind and be sure to recommend it, since they were so impressed with our lovely Dunedin Cottage.
My husband and I stayed here for a week in July, this was a quiet break for the second half of our stay in Florida and it fitted the bill perfectly!
We are from the UK so didn't know what to expect but this area is lovely, lots of restaurants within walking distance, also a short drive for sightseeing ie St Petersburgh, and along the coast at Clearwater.
This home is just great plenty of space, lovely decor and with everything you will need for your stay and on a very quiet street.
Bagels were great at Dunedin Bakery at the end of the street.
