This top floor 1 bed 1 bath condo offers some of the most stunning sunsets from your very own private balcony. The Apollo Condominium is located on the South tip of Marco Island. The views are absolutely stunning! Enjoy all the amenities the Apollo offers, sauna, fitness room, tennis, spa, heated pool and the popular on-site Sunset Grille! Only a few other buildings on the entire Marco Island beach has a walk-up restaurant/bar, those being the hotels.

The Apollo was nominated in 2015 by Trip Advisor, the highly regarded Traveler's Award Certificate of Excellence! This award winning building provides an unreal experience for all guests that visit.

Marco Island is the largest of Florida's Ten Thousand Islands, located on the Gulf of Mexico in Southwest Florida. It has been described as Magical, Mystical and Alluring. The attraction is tropical sun-washed white beaches and a casual easy paced life style. Sunshine, frolicking dolphins, and all of the water and sun sports that go with the beaches are available for your pleasure.

Disappointed Apollo 1002

The property manager was very unhelpful.

The vacation rental was very dirty.

I was very happy with the location.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

BATH NASTY!: shower curtain/liner filthy, bath rug beyond DIRTY, hair dryer laying in pool of rust, light bulb out. KITCHEN: all appliances dirty and rusty, microwave unusable, counter falling apart. LIVING AREA: stains on most furniture, dining table nasty. BEDROOM: only one functioning light. All areas dated, could accept but not dirty. Called Harborview immediately to be relocated. Stated "probably not possible". We found options. Told someone would come by to check and deliver several items; spent until mid afternoon waiting. Still no response from Harbourview rental manager. RENTAL MANAGER: requested compensation - no response after 10 days. From our experience we advise no one rent Apollo 1002 nor use Harbourview Rental. Will post update should 1002 owner or Harborview choose to resolve matter.

Beautiful view, not exactly what I was hoping for, though...

The condo was not to my taste or expectations as the furnishings were well used and decor was somewhat outdated, however the property staff was very responsive to all of my communications and the view from the balcony is truly amazing. There's a pretty pool on property as well, but we didn't get to use it. The beach is simply too inviting.

The building is 40 years, maybe one of the first built on the beach. #1002, has a beautiful view from the top floor, however, the unit is due for an update. All of the appliances are dated, maybe the original, but in good working order. We will look for a newer building and a remodeled unit when we come back.

Not very good... They were moving sand just below our building and we couldn't enjoy the balcony that we paid for... Over the weekend the A/C leaked water on the carpet and out last day we could not stay in the unit because they had to tear up the carpet to dry it out. We didn't sleep much the last night because the fan was drying the carpet.

The Rental is small. I knew this going down. I had stayed there before. The grounds and building is very well maintained. And everyone is very friendly. I especially like having the Sunset grill downstairs. But great for a beach bum. I mainly stay on the beach. It didn't have any toilet paper or garbage bags. Overall I would give it a 9. Would go back.
