Overview

About the property

1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 4

This lovely apartment is in the heart of one of the fanciest neighborhoods in Rome and it is only 100 meters away from Rome's most important and known monument: the Coliseum!

You can actually see it (as well as the Domus Aurea) from the balcony of the flat.

As you can see from the pictures, the apartment is tastefully decorated with modern furniture and it has a big beautiful bedroom with a queen size bed and a lovely living room with a queen size sofa bed and a big dining table for four people.

This one bedroom apartment is very big and spacious since it is approximately 60 square meters big and was completely renovated in December 2013.

Located on the first floor (with no elevator) of a high-class building, it has a bathroom with a very big and beautiful shower, a fully equipped kitchen, flat TV and Wifi Internet connection 24/7 included in the price.

The area is incredibly gorgeous and is very well known in the city for its very nice and unique shops, bistros and restaurants.

The B line of the subway (Colosseo/Fori Imperiali) is really close on foot (2 minutes maximum) and will get you to Termini (Central Train Station) in only 2 stops.

This flat is the perfect choice for a couple wanting to visit Rome (a baby cot is also available upon request) or for a family of four or for those who need to visit the Opera House (Teatro dell'Opera), as it is only 1 km away (10 minutes on foot).

We really welcome your inquiries and questions and we provide a guide to the apartment and neighborhood with tips and advice on many local restaurants and shops!

The Roman Tourism Tax (3.50€per night per person) is NOT included in the total and has to be paid in cash upon arrival.

Smoking is not allowed in the apartment (but only in the balcony).

Check in is at 2 pm and check out at 10 am.

Outside of the building you can find 3 bins: the white one is for paper, the blue one is for plastic bottles, glasses and cans, while the third one (black) is for normal waste.

Late check in (after 8 pm) is 30€.

Late check in (after midnight) is 50€

About Andrea Zamparelli

Back in 2012 I gave up a boring job to pursue my lifelong dream of working in the tourism field. I am very lucky to live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and my goal is to help travelers worldwide to come and enjoy the Eternal City!

Why Andrea Zamparelli chose Rome

The Coliseum area and the Monti neighborhood are very centrally located in Rome and are considered the most "hip" areas in Rome right now.

By renting this flat, you will truly experience the city like a true local.

What makes this apartment unique

With the subway stop "Colosseo" only 2 minutes away on foot, you will be able to conveniently sightsee the city! That is if you don't want to walk, because everything is reachable on foot!

This apartment is the perfect choice for those who need to visit the Opera House (Teatro dell'Opera), as it is only 1 km away (10 minutes on foot)

Excellent location and service

  • 5 of 5

Very nice apartment a block from the Colosseum, across the street from a park. The space was clean and very comfortable. Andrea and Nathalie were perfect hosts. It was a little noisy, but nothing significant. To be expected, being above 2 cafes, a block from one of the world's most popular tourist destinations, and in a city of 4.3 million residents (that hosts 8.8 million visitors a year!)

We loved the Monti neighborhood, the heart of which was about 5 minutes away, just past St. Pietro in Vincoli, home to Michelangelo's Moses, a 2 minute walk.

Everything works. Wonderful hosts! We highly recommend this apartment.

Perfect Location and an even More Perfect Host!

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is clean and adorable, and SO close to the Coliseum and the Colesseo subway stop, making it convenient to the entire city. Although the "view of the Coliseum" is a little overstated, haha, the view over the park is sweet, and the cafe downstairs is convenient, and closes at a reasonable hour!

Andrea always gives a quick response for any questions, and we had a phone number to contact in case we had any problems getting to the apt (which we didn't). If I ever head back to Rome, I would definitely want to stay here again.

Nice apartment very conviently located near the Coliseum

  • 4 of 5

We very much enjoyed our stay. Apartment is two blocks from the Metro station at the Coliseum and has easy access to a number of bus lines. Apartment is on first floor accessed by stairs (no elevator). The place is very clean and has a good layout. Bedroom has windows on two walls making possible a nice cross breeze in hotter weather possible. Check-in and check-out went very smoothly. Apartment is directly above two restaurants (which have great food!) but can be quite noisy in the evening (bring ear plugs if noise bothers you and you want to go to bed before 23:00!) If you want to be located near the Coliseum, I would recommend you consider this apartment.

Unbeatable location and excellent people to work with

  • 5 of 5

I spent a month traveling around Italy, and this was by far the best place and experience I had. Starting with the booking, the responses were fast, friendly and accommodating. Upon arrival, the person who met me was again friendly and informative and knowledgeable. The space itself was clean and modern, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom tile work was beautiful. Stepping outside and walking about two blocks, I was at the Colosseum. I was amazed and delighted it was so close (it is not visible from the apartment), and seeing it every night when I walked home was magical. Even though the bustling Colosseum is so close, the street is quiet and peaceful. It's a perfect location from which to walk around the city. I will definitely book this again next time I'm in Rome.

Amazing

  • 5 of 5

We spent four nights in this beautiful apartment, and could not have been more pleased. It was even better than photos, and location was perfect. We walked almost everywhere, but public transportation was only a few blocks away. Andrea was very helpful in arranging transportation, and always responded promptly, both before and after our arrival. Do not hesitate to rent this apartment. Will definitely stay there again if we return to Rome.

Great location, Good Deal

  • 4 of 5

Pros: well-managed; quick and friendly operator; spacious; short walk to the Colosseo metro station

Cons: The restaurant directly outside the bedroom window can get noisy; the hot water in the shower comes in waves/fluctuates
