About the property

2 bedrooms for 5 people, heated floors, pets allowed, stone barbecue

Our holiday home is a 4-star chalet on the lower level, built completely in the Valais style. The apartment has a private terrace, with a view of the mountains and has a natural fence, surrounded by bushes and is nonetheless sunny. A beautiful stone barbecue rounds out the ambience. For children, there is a sandbox and a swing set. A particular advantage is that there is an open-air pool from May to September (with children's and swimming pools), which can be used for free by our guests with our compliments, and is just 200 m away. There is also a restaurant and a small store there from May to September. The apartment has two new bedrooms, a new bathroom in grey-green Graubünden granite with a shower and WC, a fully-supplied living room and kitchen, with a microwave, dish washer, raclette and fondue machines, etc. All the floors are made of stone, with heating. The apartment has a parking area, which is 100 m away. The house is completely peaceful, far from traffic and confusion, a dream for families with children and anyone looking for a bit of quiet. Right here in our neighbourhood there are other chalets that you can get to without roads.

Further information: our house also has a children's swing, a sandbox and numerous toys. Our rock grill is perfect for evening barbecues over an open fire!

Cosy chalet, convenient location

We stayed in the chalet for a week on our skiing trip to Wallis. Chalet is located not far from main road E62 / 9 which gives access to Zermatt, Verbier and other ski areas. Because we wanted to visit several resorts, location close to the road was important. Also, chalet has a parking space for guests.

Chalet itself is very clean and tidy, furniture in bedrooms is new. Space is quite sufficient for 4 people. Owner of the chalet is friendly and a skier himself. Bottle of wine you see on the pictures is real – was waiting for us when we arrived.

Fresh sweet alpine air, mountain vistas, quite evenings and sky full of starts at night – what else one might want to spend a holiday?

PS. Whatever you do there, I would recommend to have a 30 minutes walk around Leuk on the other side of the valley – absolutely charming.

gut eingerichtet, super ausgestattet & sehr sauber

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Die Wohnung ist vollständig ausstattet wie wir es noch nie angetroffen haben.

Der Besitzer ist sehr hilfsbereit und ansprechbar bei Bedarf, hält sich aber stets im Hintergrund.

Die Lage ist sehr zentral im Wallis und empfiehlt sich für Ausflüge sowohl ins Unter- wie ins Oberwallis.

Infrastruktur (Laden, Bäcker etc.) ist sehr gut.

Uns hat es in Pletschen gut gefallen, die Lage und das Chalet sind sehr kinderfreundlich. Die Wohnung entspricht der Ausschreibung und ist hübsch renoviert. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Wir können einen Aufenthalt im Chalet Regina nur empfehlen.

Achtung für Velofahrer: vom Kern von Susten bis zum Parkplatz des Feriendorfes sind rund 150 Höhenmeter zu überwinden. Dem Rohne-Tal entlang lässt es sich sehr schön radeln!

Sympathique séjour

Sympathique séjour dans ce chalet propre et idéal pour des vacances en famille! La région est riche en activité et les Burgerbad de Loèche-les-bains sont à proximité. Pletschen is a nice, relaxing and bucolic village in a beautiful setting in Susten. At a altitude of some 750 metres, you can enjoy the mountain panorama and view of the nearby old town of Leuk, which is absolutely worth seeing. From Pletschen, you have the ideal point of departure for visits to many attractions, such as the Brigerbad (an adventure pool with jet stream pools and grottoes) or in the nearby Leukerbad, where you can relax in the heated pools. Golf players can take advantage of a newly-built golf course in Susten where you will be inspired by the fantastic mountain panorama. Through the outskirts of Rohnetal there is a lovely view of the surroundings. Enjoy horseback riding and tennis games, countless hikes of all difficulty levels, be it in the vineyards, the famous south ramp (Südrampe), the Torrent range or the Illhorn range. The wild Illgraben with its Bhutan-style hanging bridges will fascinate you.

Other activities: Fitness trail, Sauna

Golf: Just 3 km away, in Leukerfeld, a new golf club has been built, which is open 10 months of the year and makes the hearts of every golf-lover beat a little faster. The total area of the 18-hole golf course is 56 hectares and it was modelled on the classic 'Links Golf Courses' of Scotland.

Skiing: Valais offers diverse ski options. The advantage of our house is that it is not located right on a ski hill, where you would have to go down the same paths for a whole week or longer. Instead, you can decide in the morning on a whim, weather permitting, whether you want to head to the ski resorts on the northern side of the valley, such as Crans-Montana (25 minutes away), Leukerbad (25 minutes) or Lötschental (35 minutes), or to the southern side in Vall d'Annivers with the larger ski courses such as St. Luc, Zinal and Grimentz (40 minutes to either) or from Visp to Saas Fee or Zermatt (50 minutes to either) The numerous possibilities are our biggest plus
