It is beautifully and luxuriously appointed with stunning sunset views over the golf course. The location is so central to all the Big Island has to offer.

The master bedroom is a peaceful retreat with its own spacious lanai overlooking the golf course. Sink into the luxurious lounge chairs and enjoy a quiet drink away from it all.

The kids have their own bedroom with their own TV and their own bathroom. The pool is only a 5 min walk away and it is a beautiful large pool with an enclosed shallow area for the little ones. The walk to the pool will be a delight for them. It is lined with fishponds containing many many goldfish.

If you like to BBQ - your own private BBQ is located on the lower lanai. Put your feet up in the lounge chairs after dinner and soak in the spectacular sunset views and the gently swaying palm trees.

Enjoy the many beautiful white sand beaches in close proximity to the property. The private owner’s beach is a 3 min drive away. It is a sparkling white sand beach enclosed by corral and very safe for the kids. It is lifeguarded. While the kids are enjoying a swim and a snorkel (snorkel sets included) - you may enjoy a cool drink at the restaurant overlooking the beach. it is so pretty and picturesque.

Another beach is a 10 minute walk away. Next to it is a turtle sanctuary - a delight for the children.

If your family enjoys boogie boarding or surfing - head over to Hapuna Beach - a 10 minute drive away. The waves here are perfect for boogie boarding. Boogie boards are included in the rental.

World class tennis facilities and golf are located right in the Mauna Lani Resort - at your doorstep. Enjoy.

Spectacular walking trails abound - also at your doorstep.

I was a little concerned as the average price on this property was a little below similar properties at the coast - but no need for concern. I appreciated the split-level design, with a lanai with fantastic grill opening to a small patch of lawn and a very pleasant and private golf course view; and upstairs devoted to sleep. Everything was clean and well-stocked. The location is quite good - the outer condo means privacy, but the pool is still close; both the Fairmont and Mauna Lani are quite close; and shopping is around the corner. We had a very sweet time there, and would go back.

Such a disappointment dealing with the owner & saw cockroaches everyday in the kitchen

The location is perfect for a Hawaiian get-a-way! The condo had everything except they only leave one waste can liner for the kitchen garbage, so we ran out pretty quick after a week's stay. Seeing cockroaches everyday in the kitchen was disgusting, but we found spray under the kitchen sink, so they must have known there was a problem. When we found the bugs in the dishwasher that was not pleasant. This condo has bikes, but you have to rent them, which I have never done on a VRBO rental before. Generally everything is included, but not here. The resort lends itself to riding bikes, so it's a good consideration. We did not know how much we would have loved to rent the bikes until we got there and checked it all out. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time. We asked to rent the bikes once we arrived, but the owner would only use PayPal - sadly I did not have an account, so no bike rental for us....bummer! We had some friends join us at the last minute, the owner wanted to charge us $15 per person per day to have them stay, which was weird since on the VRBO site it is listed as $12 per person per day. We had other friends staying close so they left after one night. It was really strange but it seemed like people were entering the condo while we were out during the day. One day we noticed some things out of place, so we purposefully put something in front of the door and sure enough the next day it was moved. That was a little creepy, but none of our personal belongings were taken. Maybe the maid came back for something - who knows. We were disappointed with the owner because she made us feel like we were doing something wrong by renting her house. We met tons of folks at the pool who also use VRBO and they gave us some good contacts for other condos. We will definitely be back....just to a different condo.

Owner's Response: I would like to address my response to this review to my future guests. Please understand that this is a malicious and fraudulent review. The only purpose of this review is to damage the reputation and the rentability of our beautiful vacation unit. This renter made no mention of any bug issues during her stay. If the renter found any bugs, she should have advised us and the matter would have been dealt with expeditiously. Our condominium is kept extremely clean. We did not enter the condominium during her stay. We did not send or authorize anyone else to enter the condominium during her stay. We were not on the island during her stay as we live in Canada. Certainly if she felt that someone had been entering the condominium she should have notified us and the authorities. The problem with this particular guest was the following. She had booked the unit for only two people. She subsequently asked to rent all 4 bikes. It is only because of this request that we discovered that there were at least 4 adults staying in the unit. When we pointed out that she signed a contract and paid for only two, she claimed that she had no idea that she could not bring any more guests. Through our further interactions with her, it became very clear that she was not a trustworthy individual. The rental of a private property requires both parties to be open, honest and trustworthy. At that point, we were reluctant to rent her the bikes. Access to the bikes would require additional access to our locked garage where we store personal items of value to us. Our guests up until this renter have been honest, kind people who appreciated the beauty and the excellent value of our condominium. Please read the other 39 very positive guest reviews. We sincerely care about the comfort of our guests and welcome you to our beautiful unit. Aloha, Elena

Conveniently located spacious unit

Owner was very responsive to our queries. There are a few minor issues when we checked in, but owner fixed it right away. The unit is equipped with beach chairs, snorkelling gears and boogie boards. the owner beach club is a gem. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great place!

Our family of four stayed in the Dancing Dolphins for one week. The house is lovely and very spacious. The master bedroom is huge and has a very nice balcony. The house comes with access to the mauna lani beach club, a perfect beach for children --calm water, good snorkeling, and very convenient restaurant. Our kids also loved the pool at the Fairways. Overall I highly recommend this property!

Great Location!

Property was lovely and comfortable. Everything is close enough by to make it all accessible! The shops down the street are very convenient for the food store as well as great restaurants. Beach is close enough, there is a pool and a small but functional exercise room very close by! All in all you lack for nothing!
