About the property

Condo, 1 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 5

Lake Tahoe has never looked more stylish than when relaxing at this three story Kings Beach vacation condo! The sleek interior takes design elements from nature for an earthy, warm ambiance. With a seasonal shared pool and location near Brockway Golf Club, as well as the several public beaches on Lake Tahoe, there's an abundance of outdoor activities to be enjoyed. And in winter, you're only seven miles from Northstar California Resort for an amazing family ski getaway!

You'll definitely look forward to returning to this cozy condo after a day (or night) out on the town. On chilly evenings, sit in front of the wood burning fireplace with a big bowl of popcorn and watch some cable or DVDs on the new flat screen TV. There's comfortable furniture for everyone to sit back and relax, talk, or just spend a quiet night reading a book, leafing through magazines, or playing board games.

The dining room and kitchen are open, so you can socialize easily no matter where you take a seat. The dining room table seats four, but there's also a convenient breakfast bar for light meals or snacks. In the bright, well-organized kitchen you'll have everything you need to prepare vacation meals - from freshly ground coffee and oatmeal in the mornings to an aromatic pork and white bean stew at night. There's even a dishwasher to clean everything up after the meal's over.

Out on the balcony, there's a nice view of the landscaped community grounds, as well as a gas grill. Just grab some steaks or chicken at the store, and have a delicious outdoor cookout. This space is also ideal for crisp sunny mornings, or a glass of wine after dinner.

The main level has a comfortable bedroom with a queen sized bed. The second floor has an open living and dining room and the third floor has an open loft with a twin over double-size bunk bed. Both bedrooms have accessories like bedside tables and lamps for easy nighttime reading in bed and also cozy, colorful bedding. With its two bedrooms, this home will easily accommodate five guests. Additional amenities include WiFi throughout the space, as well as a stereo with a CD player. The condo is perfect for young families - you'll find a booster seat, Pack 'n Play, and baby gates to make traveling with little ones a breeze!

In nice weather, it's only a mile and a half to Kings Beach State Park for an afternoon relaxing or playing frisbee on the shore. Pack a picnic lunch and bring a big striped beach blanket for some quality downtime on the edge of crystal clear Lake Tahoe. There's also boating or water skiing to consider, as well as a scenic cruise around the lake. The area is also rich with other outdoor activities like golf at the Old Brockway Golf Course, hiking, biking, or even rock climbing.

Not just for summer, cold weather ushers in the ski season at Northstar! After a 10 minute drive from the condo, you and your whole family can spend some quality time together downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, ice skating, or winter tubing!

Year-round, make the short drive east to Nevada's casinos for gaming, to see a show, or even a romantic dinner out. Of course, you don't need to drive far to take advantage of the great restaurants in Kings Beach. With over 25 cafes, pubs, and eateries, you'll be able to find a place for a great meal, whether it's a hole-in-the-wall hidden gem or a fancy, fine dining experience.

Come enjoy Lake Tahoe anytime of year - for a family ski getaway or a fun-in-the-sun retreat. You'll find this bright and stylish Kings Beach condo is ready and waiting for your adventure!

About Vacasa, CA - Lake Tahoe Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Nice unit in central location

 • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay very much. On this trip we wanted to ski at Northstar, Donner Ski Ranch, Mt. Rose and Diamond Peak. We also wanted to dine out in Truckee and Tahoe City. The location for us was very central, with just about everything within a 20 minute drive. The unit was well supplied and very clean. It turned out to be even nicer in person than what I was expecting from the pictures. We would stay here again and recommend it to friends. Thank you!

Very pretty and comfortable condo loft

 • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful ski weekend with our two children in this spacious three-level condo. Right off of Highway 267, the condo was convenient to Northstar. If you want to ski at Squaw it's further away and traffic could be an issue. A Safeway store is a mile down the road, and the lake is very accessible. We enjoyed cooking and relaxing after a wonderful day of skiing. Parking was easy and the location was quiet. The condo itself is very pretty and feels new. The kitchen is very well equipped.

Clean, reliable and 10 minutes to north star and casinos

 • 5 of 5

I stayed here with a friend to go skiing for the weekend and was impressed by the cleanliness, the space (easily fits 5), and the internet quality ( which in cabins is not usually reliable). It was very close to north star and casinos (10 minutes) and right next to a Safeway. Would definitely stay again and reccomend to anyone looking for the previously stated reasons.

Good potential. poor management

 • 1 of 5

We stayed two weekends in a row at this condo. When we arrived late Friday the first weekend, the condo clearly had not been cleaned since the previous guests - dirty sheets on the beds, garbage in the cans, dirty kitchen and bathrooms. I sent an email Friday night asking that they send someone to clean while we were out skiing on Saturday. When we returned Saturday, the condo had not been cleaned. I asked that they release us from our reservation the next weekend, which they declined to do but did say they would reimburse our cleaning fee. When we arrived the second weekend late Friday night, the each step of the 12 steps leading up to the front door and the landing were covered in a foot of snow. They hadn't left the porch light on so we could safely enter and the house was 40 degrees. It was clean though! I thought they might make it safe and easy to arrive and make an effort to welcome us after the previous weekend, but no such luck. A nice location and condo but poor property management.
