Moose in the morning!

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful view at the end of a street. The complex butts up to the mountains. Our first morning there we saw three moose hanging out in the willows! Amazing! The trek up the three flights of stairs is not for the faint of heart but worth it.

Denver, CO

Great mountain views, very well located.

  • 4 of 5

Nice place to stay, well located within walking distance of Main St and the marina. Lots of space and a well stocked kitchen. The hot tubs were under renovation/repair which we wish we had been given a heads up about before arriving. Very clean and comfortable.

Great place for 4 adults

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay, everything was clean, views were beautiful. Kitchen is like a galley kitchen-so only room for 2. The living room tv resolution could be improved and the light in the corner of the master-(w/couch) needs to be plugged in as it's too hard to reach. A few plates have chips. Decorations are really nice and we liked the dimmers on the switches. We didn't try the clubhouse. Had a wonderful time hiking at Maroon Bells.

Great stay!

  • 5 of 5

The location was great. It was very clean and comfortable. The only bummer was that it did get a little warm, but it wasn't unbearable. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again. Plenty of space for our group. We had a great time!

Comfortable, but a corporate feel

  • 3 of 5

My husband and I love Frisco with all of our hearts. We try to get to Colorado from Texas as often as we can. We have stayed in several Mountain Side condos, and love the area very much. The complex itself offers great amenities and is such easy access to fantastic hiking trails. This condo while adequate (and quite possibly too much for just the two of us) definitely has a corporate feel to it. From the weird wildlife artwork, to the clearly year round Christmas decor you can tell that this property is owned and run by a leasing company. That being said, we still enjoyed our stay. Here are a couple of things to be prepared for. The bathrooms are tiny with not much counter space. We ended up using separate bathrooms for our stay, and were still running back and forth to other places to get things we needed. It also gets hot in there during the day, and if you are hot sleepers like we are it gets hot at night too! There are a couple of fans in the unit, and I am sure we could have requested more, but we made due. Some ceiling fans would go a long way in this unit. Also while pretty well stocked, the kitchen could use some basics like a cookie sheet, and drinking glasses that were not meant for wine. One other note, while we don't watch a lot of television while on vacation, it is very uncomfortable to watch tv with the furniture placement in this condo. Not a huge deal to us, but could be to some families. Please don't get me wrong, this condo would be well suited to some who are looking for nothing more than a place to crash while skiing, but I would advise caution to families during the warmer summer months. At least the mountain air is nice to enjoy with the windows open. Last but not least because my husband gave me a hard time for the duration of our trip...this is a third floor unit with over 50 stairs to climb! Not fun when you are heavy packers like we are! Lol! Frisco and the surrounding area are awesome and we will definitely be returning soon.
