Best of both worlds we have to offer with our Mid-Century Modern home located on a highly desirable residential neighborhood on Longboat Key. Steps from our private beach, on a canal with access to Sarasota Bay and a lush green tropical mature paradise of native plants that supply you with privacy and beauty.
The home is furnished with Mid-Century Modern furnishings by Noguchi, Herman Miller, Hayward Wakefield to name a few.
The open concept allows to bring the outdoors in when the sliders are open to the patio. Having the bedrooms set in the back of the house gives privacy and quiet while still entertaining in the main living area.
The house is complete with all amenities, all you need are your personal items.
Take a moment and view our virtual tour and check out our guest book.
Come and enjoy our lush green tropical paradise for a getaway escape or a family vacation.
We purchase this home from the original owner who had the home built back in 1958. She was a school teacher and nature lover. She also had an affinity for modern concept living.
We kept her exterior design and refurbished the home to meet the needs of modern family life.
The floors are the original Terrazzo floors. We redesigned the two bedroom two bath home into a three bedroom three bath home with updated amenities.
If you are a lover of Mid-Century Modern, our home will meet your expectations.

Beautiful home with ideal layout in gorgeous private natural surroundings
Perfect central location on the island - very easy beach access - quick walk. House has all the amenities you need
My family and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect location to spend our week long vacation in Longboat Key and Sarasota. The house was absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean. The property was located in the heart of Longboat Key with easy access to several great restaurants and just a short drive to St. Armand's Circle and Sarasota or the Bradenton area (we traveled from Pittsburgh to Florida for Pittsburgh Pirates spring training!). Thank you so much for making our vacation such a special memory!
The areas inside are quite nice. Most everything worked well. It was clean.
The house doesn't look that great from outside, but once you go in, it is nice. Well equipped kitchen. nice bathrooms. Beds OK.
The area is quiet, the neighbors nice. There is no access to the beach but by car you are minutes away from multiple beaches and parks by the beach.
A couple of things to improve: The air conditioner makes a funny loud noise. The coffee machines (there were 3!) didn't work, so we ended up buying a 4th one. Overall a nice property.
Our family ( 2 kids) enjoyed a very relaxing week here over Christmas. The house is very carefully decorated with some interesting art. The garden is small but beautiful. The residential street is quiet.
We enjoyed walking the 300 yards or so to the beach. The beach access is across a main road so small kids need to be supervised. The beach itself is absolutely wonderful. Soft white sand and warm water - even in December!
Longboat key is a quiet, laid back place. Come here if you are looking to slow down and enjoy some peace and quiet alongside a beautiful beach!
We spent the week after Christmas here and couldn't have enjoyed it more. The house is extremely comfortable. The furniture and artwork are stunning. The layout and the well-supplied kitchen and closets make for very easy living. The garden and patio area off the sunroom is particularly charming, and we spent a lot of time there. With the big trees and lush plantings, it feels like a private paradise. My favorite times during our stay were the lingering breakfasts we had out there every morning, with kids and adults sitting around the glass table drinking coffee and talking lazily. The beach is extraordinarily pretty and not crowded; we tried to end each evening there and watch the sunset with drinks in hand. A perfect vacation.
We loved this home. The moment we walked in, though bleary-eyed from our cross-country flight from Oregon, we were immediately dazzled. We've stayed many times in past years at Lido Key and Longboat Key, and this is by far the best home we've ever stayed in. Not only is it spacious, private, and nicely furnished (loved the down comforters), but the owner has included all the amenities to make our stay hassle-free. There were spices, spreads, foil and plastic wrap in the kitchen; shampoo, shave cream, and miscellaneous toiletries in the bathroom; laundry detergent and stain remover in the laundry area..... All these little things, though seemingly inconsequential, made it so easy to "move right in" for a week. The neighborhood is quiet, and the short walk to the beach several times each day was a breeze. Loved our stay. Simply loved it. Thank you.
