New Mexico Condo Rental Photos and Description

Two bedroom, two bath sleeps 6 with mountain views

Casa Parque is a beautiful casita in an idyllic setting, 10 minutes from the Santa Fe Plaza, both far enough and near enough to the city to be just perfect. Set in an attractive development of the Tesuque foothills two miles above Tesuque Village, 5 minutes from the acclaimed Santa Fe Opera. Across from the entrance to the development is the lovely Four Seasons Luxury Resort - Rancho Encantado. The casita has the charm of the classic Santa Fe style with transformed kitchen and baths. It is wonderfully comfortable in all seasons, with delightful patios to enjoy in the warmer months and kiva coziness when the weather turns cooler. From the spacious patio take in the gorgeous views of the high desert hills and beautiful mountains (Santa Fe Baldy in view) and an incredible night-time sky! Beauty and serenity abounds while being minutes away from restaurants, galleries, shopping and plenty of outdoor activities.

About Buzz Park

My husband and I were born and raised in the southwest. Buzz in fact was Born right up the road from our casita in Los Alamos! We currently live in a Mexican Hacienda 30 miles north of San Antonio Texas.

Buzz Park purchased this condo in 2013

Why Buzz Park chose New Mexico

Santa Fe has been our most favorite place to visit and have dreamed of owning a home there for more than 40 years. Our dream has become a reality! We love this place.

What makes this condo unique

Casa Parque has recently been updated to include radiant floor heating in both baths. You never have to step onto cold tile which adds to the comfort and coziness of our casita. We love all the windows in the living room and master bedroom - the views are amazing. There are also numerous skylights providing lots of natural light. The kitchen is fantastic and overlooks the living area so you never feel separated from any activities while you're preparing meals.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Greetings Buzz,

On behalf of all four women, I would like to say thank you for the opportunity to stay in your lovely Santa Fe home!

We truly delighted in the quiet, peaceful setting...with the Four Seasons indulgences only a short walk away:). Your home is beautiful and we appreciated it's many offerings, comforts and cleanliness!

Your hospitality came shining through both in print, and on the phone!

Thank you very much! We indeed hope to return someday!

Best regards,

Perfect location from which to visit Santa Fe and Taos

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed a wonderful week at the house. Very comfortable. Our two children loved the pool which they used a lot and was rarely visited by other residents. Great location from which to visit Los Alamos, Taos Pueblo, Bandolier Park and Santa Fe itself. We enjoyed white rafting trip (Kokopelli) and hot air ballooning trip (santafeballoons.com). Recommend.

Homey desert getaway great for families!

  • 5 of 5

This place is right in the desert yet only minutes from Santa Fe. We traveled with our 4 and 6 year old sons and they loved the place. We hiked right from the property and went swimming every day. The pool is really nice. The patio is fabulous. There is a retractable awning so you can always have shade and there is also great sunshine and usually a breeze. We would set our swimsuits out in a sunny spot and they would dry before you could blink an eye.

Everything in the property is really nice. Beautiful baths and kitchen. It was plenty of room for our family of 4. Buzz (the owner) provided a comprehensive write up of everything you need to know which was extremely helpful.

Stylish, comfortable home in a beautiful setting close to the city

  • 5 of 5

I selected the San Felipe unit (226) after reading great reviews. I was not disappointed! This is a beautiful home in an inviting community setting but with all of the mature trees and landscaping around the home it felt very private. I stayed there with my mom on a girls' getaway but it would also be great for a family or two couples. We cooked breakfast most mornings in the well-appointed kitchen after stopping at the Pojoaque Supermarket (north on 285) to pick up a few things after arriving. The location of the home is ideal if you are planning to visit Bandelier National Monument, Puye Cliff Dwellings, or other attractions north of the city. It is a quick 10-min drive into Santa Fe on the interstate. Buzz and Karen left a very detailed book of information and instructions for guests to get acquainted with the property, although some of the pages are a bit tattered and should be replaced. We felt right at home after the first day or 2. The Tesuque Village Market was highly recommended by the owners so we tried it for late lunch but our service was horrible. It took an hour to get 1 club sandwich that we split. They blamed it on a new ordering system in the kitchen and gave us 75% off our bill but we probably wouldn't go back. I do highly recommend taking one of the Santa Fe Food Tours to visit a few fabulous restaurants in the heart of the city and maybe meet some new friends.

Fantastic property and location! Best VRBO we've had.

  • 5 of 5

Great getaway for my wife, daughter, and son-in-law for spring break. The property was exquisitely decorated, clean, and very comfortable/relaxing to be in. Location was perfect for us as it was quiet with lots of amenities. Driving into Santa Fe was 12 minutes to the Plaza. Would definitely go back here to stay.

Thanks to the owners for keeping the home in great condition.

Perfectly Serene

  • 5 of 5

As our first stay in Santa Fe in over 20 years, we were not familiar with the area and took a chance on what we saw on VRBO. Pueblo Encantado is not only as advertised, it far surpassed any expectations we may have had. The condo is beautiful, well appointed and wraps around you from the moment you arrive. As you walk in, all stress fades away and you find yourself completely relaxed and pampered. It is a short drive to Santa Fe and the Saturday morning Farmers' Market provides fun, delicious food and an opportunity to purchase delicious items to bring back and create the perfect dinner by the fire. You can walk off those calories by stepping just behind the condo to a beautiful hike up to a summit with panoramic views of the area. It is the perfect place to enjoy a wonderful getaway. We were not ready to leave at the end of our stay and plan to return soon. Thank you for an extraordinary experience.

Absolutely beautiful home...inside and out. Perfect Santa Fe adobe style, cozy and comfortable. Bathrooms and heated floors are a special treat! Bedrooms and living room were so homey. Well-appointed kitchen and dining room...we didn't lack for a thing. ONLY one issue: Didn't want to leave but wanted to move in !!

Casa Tesuque is located just 10 minutes from the historic Santa Fe plaza. Shops, galleries and museums abound in the downtown area. Some fun things to do:

Have tapas (call it dinner) at El Farol (upscale restaurant). Go in the evening when they have flaminco dancers. Say hello to Russell Crowe. You will almost always see “Hollywood” here.

Go to Casa Sena for dinner and enjoy the singing waiters AND super food.

Walk through Canyon Road and visit amazing art galleries.

Go shopping at the Tesuque Flea Market and/or Jackalope (Especially Jackalope.)

Go to the Georgia O'Keefe museum and eat at her cafe next door.

Take the 'tourist tram' to get an overview of the city and awesome architecture.

Go to the Plaza and people watch, smile and talk and visit the Five and Dime store. You will not believe the fun stuff (inexpensive) located here.

Walk the ski area.

Drive up to Bandelier and check out the Indian ruins. Enjoy the hiking as well as the sights!

Continue from Bandelier up to Los Alamos to visit site of nuclear bomb building. (Be sure while in downtown Santa Fe to have a picture in front of door #109 on Palace Ave. The story is that as Los Alamos became the center to build or plan an atomic bomb, the special scientists went in door 109 on the plaza and went out the back. The Indians were spooked as they never saw anyone leave!) You can see 109 on the plaza and have your picture taken in front of the door. The children born at Los Alamos before 1947 have birth certificates with a SANTA FE post office box listed as the address of birth! Spend a whole day at Los Alamos. The videos, the ambience…. It is worth the day!
