The house was great for our family visit. A large amount of space for six adults and in a great, walk-able location. Amy left beautiful fresh flowers and provided excellent information via the house information book.

Amazing Experience and Property!

  • 5 of 5

My family of five stayed in this property over Thanksgiving and had the most wonderful time. The location is perfect… The beds are very comfortable - with plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash...even make up remover wipes. The kitchen has top end appliances and coffee was provided. Our family loved the access to the park that was just across the street. Amy was kind enough to provide tennis rackets and tennis balls. A dream come true. When you leave this property, you are going to want to move to Georgetown, we wish we could have a second home there now. This does the trick until one of our sons decides he wants to go to Georgetown :-) thank you so much for sharing your home with our family… We are so looking forward to the next opportunity we have to come back.

Great Georgetown Getaway

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautifully decorated very old home. The location is incredible - on a park and grocery stores are less than a mile away. Main streets in Georgetown (shopping and restaurants) are walking distance. Very nice neighborhood! The house has a lot of stairs (3 floors in total) but the layout works well for families or two couples. The kitchen is small but very functional and we lingered for long conversations in the dining room. The living room is very spacious. TV and wifi worked great. The courtyard is lovely but sadly it was too cold for us to use. We had a couple of appliance issues that I know Amy has already fixed. Amy was very responsive whenever we had a question. We stay in DC frequently and hope to stay here again.

Great place for friends vacationing together

  • 4 of 5

The home was fine for the four of us. Stairs are steep to bring luggage up and down but we managed. The home has central air which we needed due to the humidity. Amy is a gracious hostess. She will make sure all is good or get anything you may need. The home is comfortable and everything you may need you will have. The locations was outstanding for us. Walked to downtown for food, ice cream etc....The people in the whole area were extremely helpful, friendly. We used Lyft to get around some as well as trying the metro. We had a fantastic vacation.

Charm and location!

  • 5 of 5

Charming historic home in the heart of Georgetown. Great location to see anything in the D.C. area via public transportation, and Uber's arrived within 5 minutes anytime we called. Easy walk to shops and dining in Georgetown. Wonderful courtyard to relax in, as well as a wood burning fireplace for cooler weather. The owner, Amy is accommodating and helpful. Loved our stay!!
