The house is nestled in the rolling hills of Puntas, Rincon. Less than a five minutes car ride to the beach, Rincon’s night scene, restaurants, and convenience stores. The property is located in a cul-de sac, in a quiet and upscale neighborhood. The house features marble floors, travertine bathrooms with tub and shower, and a fully equipped modern style kitchen with new stainless steel appliances as well as a fully equipped laundry room, A/C through out the entire house! Close proximity to all the action yet away enough to enjoy peace and quiet.
We love the ocean, the outdoors, and spending time with family. Although we currently live in the US mainland, we were born and raised in Rincon, Puerto Rico. We built this house in order to spend time with our children and keep our connection to the ocean, the Puerto Rican culture, and to give our children the opportunity to experience all the things we cherish from our beloved Rincon. We want to make sure that your experience is one that would last a lifetime!
Steven Robles purchased this house in 2013
You’ll know you’ve arrived in Rincón when you pass the group of sun-grizzled surfers cruising west in their rusty Volkswagen Beetles with surfboards piled on the roof. Located in the west corner of Puerto Rico, Rincón is at its most unguarded, a place where the sunsets shimmer scarlet and you’re more likely to be called “dude than “sir.” Rincón is the surfing capital of Puerto Rico, often called the “Hawaii of the Caribbean” and one of the premier places to catch a wave in the entire western hemisphere.
Though Rincón is crawling with American expats (many of them residents), the tourist/local divide is more seamless and less exclusive than in the resorts out east. Our house offers a unique blend between mainland mainstream and Puerto Rican flavor. Private, quiet, and secluded, our house offers the perfect combination between Rincón’s buzzing lifestyle and complete serenity.
"Everything went great!! Your home is fantastic and Rincon is an awesome place!! Only one thing, if you run the dryer while taking a shower the breaker would trip. So we only just only ran the dishwasher, took showers, or dried clothes independently. If it were on its own breaker I think the problem would be solved. Other than that, the house was set up great!! Comfortable beds, pillows, sofa, and dinning. We felt like kings. Kids loved the DVD and the HDTV. Just a really beautiful place. Gained weight on the local pastries and acai bowls :) Caught one shoulder high day and 3 yr old son surfed for first time tandem and caught a dozen or so long rides without ever falling. Sea turtles in the lineup, decent weather, you name it. Just an all in all epic trip!! Thanks for everything!! Blessings to you and your family for 2014!!"
From the Owner: Thank you Ray for staying at Surfers Cove and for your kind words. We are really glad you had a great time! We have send a contractor to take a look the breaker situation and we are happy to report that this is no longer an issue. Again thank you and we look forward to your next adventure in Rincon! Happy 2014!
We stayed in Surfer's Cove for three weeks and it really felt like home. Steven has done a wonderful job at making his home feel inviting, clean and comfortable. Being hidden away near the jungle surrounded by fruit trees was not only tranquil but really made us feel like we were experiencing a part of the island somewhat untouched. I will definitely stay in this house again if Steven allows it.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this amazing house! 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and equipt with everything you could possibly need for your stay. They really did a great job in each room. There's also a laundry room, beach toys for the kids, and beach towels. Very clean, peaceful, and located very close to all the beaches and restaurants. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for everything!
The home was clean, modern and the neighborhood very quiet. It was a quick drive to everything!
All the amenities worked well. We couldn't find Keurig coffee cups in Rincon so that was disappointing.
It was perfect for my wife and I and our 4 young adult children!
Great house! A little hard to find but once there, enjoyed the peace & quiet of the valley.
The house was wonderfully appointed, new, neat, lean and tidy! The kitchen was fully furnished with all appliances and furnishings you could need. The landscaping is pleasing and tastefully executed as well.
The house is tucked away down the hill it provided a private relaxing refuge after our days of beach excursion. The laundry facilities, beach toys, and soft top surf boards were all put to good use and helped make our stay easy and fun!
We will definitely look this rental up again on a return trip.
Cell service could be spotty for some carriers at the house, but such is life in the rolling hills of Rincon :)
