Three bedrooms, Three full baths. Full kitchen. Pool and Jacuzzi. Right on the beach. WiFi. Walking distance to center of plaza.
I reside in California, few years ago my friend of mine and I decided to visit Island of Hol-box. Our friends had visited and now they had build a house there. Both of us felt in love with this Island. It's secluded at the same time has most hospitable people great restaurants and night life. We decided to look for a piece of land to build our dream beach house. That dream came through May of 2012.
Megan Vali purchased this house in 2012
Owning a beach house has been my dream since I was 6 years old. I would like to offer this house to wonderful people around the world so I can share this amazing experience with them.
Brand new three bedrooms, three baths with pool and Jacuzzi. Walking distance to the plaza and restaurants. Water sports activity next door. WiFi, Full kitchen.
We recently returned from a 4 night stay at this great property in Isla Holbox. Everything was perfect from start to finish.
The owner answered all questions prior to the trip quickly and gave us the name of her property manager in Holbox - Chuy -for
anything needed while we were there. Chuy quickly set up transfers for us to/from Cancun airport and arranged a private boat for
a Whale shark tour. He met us at the house upon arrival and checked on us regularly throughout our stay. Anything we asked for,
he arranged immediately. He's a gem!
The house itself was perfect for us (4 adult women). The open floor plan on the first floor meant we could all visit whether we were in
the fully equipped kitchen or relaxing in the living room. The bedrooms and bathrooms were roomy and comfortable. The master and a 2nd
bedroom upstairs both had great balconies. The wifi kept us in touch when we wanted to be and the house had everything we needed for our stay.
The swimming pool was steps from the front door, but since - with just a few steps more - we were right on a private area of the beach - we never used the pool. The beach was fabulous. Quiet, uncrowded and what a treat to be able to run back/forth to the house at any time. As previous posters noted, there's a great little beachfront cafe for breakfast/lunch right next door and the guys who run it are great. Next door in the other direction, a fun little afternoon bar.
We absolutely loved Holbox. It was small and laid-back. We could just wander down the beach any night and get a wonderful dinner at a number of
beachfront restaurants. The people were friendly and the atmosphere couldn't have been more relaxing. It was so refreshing to not see any chain restaurants or big hotels or crowds & crowds of people.
Our only complaint was the mosquitos....which Chuy warned us about before our visit. Apparently we came at a time when they are at their worst. But, arm yourself with some good repellant and enjoy your time. (Most restaurants will have some repellant to offer up too). We left Holbox and went on to Isla Mujeres for 4 days and all we could talk about was wishing we were back in Holbox. If you're looking for a place to completely chill and enjoy some down time - Isla Holbox and this house is the perfect spot.
We, a group of five adults, recently stayed on Holbox for six nights… three nights at this villa and the rest of the trip split between Villa Flamingos and Casa Tortuga. We all had a great time at those hotels, but I found myself wishing we’d stayed here the entire time.
This villa is beautifully designed and furnished. You’re steps away from El Jardin, Viva Zapata, and the beach bar at Hotel Zomay (a great spot to catch sunsets). Access to filtered drinking water in the kitchen was a big, unexpected bonus. It’s part of a duplex, and the neighbors were accommodating, helpful, and incredibly friendly. We would absolutely stay here again.
We were a group of 5 women, aged 22 to 83, taking Grandma on her 1st Girls Trip. A great time was had by all! Isla Hotbox is beautiful, the villa was extremely comfortable and everyone we encountered was so welcoming & just flat out nice. The villa has everything you could need, lots of towels & comfortable outdoor furniture. The AC worked great & every room had a ceiling fan. Chuy the caretaker was so helpful, from meeting us very late on the day of arrival (due to an airline delay) to making sure everything was in good working order & setting up very early morning taxis for us. Thank you!! The neighbor was also very helpful & had great suggestions. While it was windy & occasionally chilly while we were there, it was way, way better than the Minnesota winter we escaped for one blissful week. This is a beautiful villa on a beautiful island. Thank you for opening up your home! I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this villa again.
Holbox and this property were perfect. The location is the best on the island in my opinion. Close to town and right on the beach with a fantastic beach side palapa bar a few steps away perfect watching sunsets. The owner was great to work with and quick to respond. Chuy the property manager is the man! He can assist with anything you may need and goes above and beyond. You may have a fight on your hands for the master suite as it is spectacular. Holbox is a true paradise. You may fall in love with the island, reconsider your entire life and contemplate staying permanently.
I have spend the whole month of February with my daughters and sisters at this incredible villa still was not enough, love everything about it including Chuy this charming man who takes care of all your needs.
The owner and her friend ( next door neighbor) are so nice that you wanted them for friends in no time
