200 Feet Of Sandy Beach Lake Shore Western Sunset View Over The Lake!!!
About Brian Chase
This lake home was built by my Father, Mother, their six sons, and one daughter. My parents have passed. I purchased this home in June 2013 to keep it in the family. Many family reunions have taken place on the property!!! Lots of memories have been stored away, to once again re-live, with activities ranging from tubing, water skiing, fishing, snowmobiling, hunting, or just sitting around enjoying your favorite beverage at the beach camp fire, or grilling on the huge deck facing the western sunset!!!
Brian Chase purchased this House in 2013

Great house on a great lake!!
We had a great week making some great family memories!
Great place to stay on a beautiful lake.
Renters were very helpful and the accommodations were great for our family.
Thank you Kevin for you great review and thanks for taking good care of the Turtle Lake Home!
Wonderful Hidden Gem
Our Stay was wonderful! Very relaxing! The pictures the owner posts do not do this place justice. We have a family of five and we were so comfortable. The house and property was very clean and had everything that we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. The fishing is excellent! The lake is crystal clear. I would recommend this to anyone just needing to get away from the hustle and bustle of our day to day life. It is a great property! Five stars from our family! Thanks Brian !
Thank you so much for your fabulous review! Thank you for taking such great care of the Turtle Lake House. We look forward to having you as our guests again. Maybe we will see you during the fall color tour and Ruffed Grouse hunting season!
Spacious home on a beautiful, quiet lake!
Great time was had by all fishing, relaxing, star gazing, going for boat rides, floating in this clear hard sand bottom lake and playing games at the big kitchen table. We also enjoyed some trails at Scenic State Park. Great for all of us to slow down and just be!
Great location, excellent accommodations, friendly help
Our trip up to Turtle Lake was wonderful. The house is comfortable with all the modern amenities you need, but still has that rustic charm you want on an "up north" getaway. Traveling with several children between the ages of 6 months and 14, there was plenty of space, more than enough bedrooms, and between fishing and swimming kept them occupied and happy. Tim, the caretaker and brother of the owner, is incredibly friendly and helpful. We're already thinking about planning another trip! Highly recommended.
Thank you for you incredible review!
I certainly appreciate the care you gave to my property. I wish all my guests cared for my beach home as if it were there own home - just like your family did...
We certainly wish you will return as our guests!!!
beautiful, spacious lake home
This home is huge, with a fully furnished upper and lower level. There are 2 bedrooms with king beds on the main floor and 2 more bedrooms downstairs. There are also several pull out couches, so I think we counted that 13 people could actually sleep here! I recommend sleeping in the lower level. if you like it cool. We loved having 3 bathrooms, too.The kitchen is beautiful, and spacious with very nice pots and pans, crockpots and utensils. The family loved gathering around the large dining room table for our meals. Be prepared to separate your trash, it is a country home and they like to burn, recycle and compost to help the environment. It is advertised as pet friendly, but the owner did request us to keep our dog on the lower level, which actually was fine. We could catch rock bass from the dock, which was really fun. We spent every afternoon, swimming and hanging out by the lake. The lake bottom was sandy, not weedy or rocky and great for our grandson to swim. Fishing was OK, but it also was record high temperatures for Memorial Weekend. Brian and Tim, the owners, were really friendly and accommodating. The only reason I did not give this property 5 stats is the mosquitos! Of course, we had rare, extremely hot temperatures and the first rains of the spring, so they were hatching like mad. I suggest you bring outdoor foggers or yard guard and spray around the doors outside. The mosquitoes hang around the door areas, waiting to come in. Do not leave any outside lights on, and beware, they will even come in thru the screen windows. The 4 season porch has air conditioning, and a nice size table with 8 chairs and we enjoyed playing games out there. Grandmas favorite thing was the abundance of rocker recliners where she could read in comfort. She also liked the DISH TV. I also recommend renting the pontoon. The lake is beautiful so plan on spending lots of time on it!
Thank so much for your kind review, we appreciate your business!!! I would like to clarify a few points regarding your review. Yes - we do re-cycle plastics, bottles, cans, and paper. WE DO NOT BURN PAPER ON THE PROPERTY. Each trash can is labeled to assist our guests. All refuse is taken to the local landfill. We use a compost for food scraps so that they do not end up in the garage. If guests put spoiling food scraps in the garbage cans that are located in the garage, they will attract unwanted animals and flies looking for a snack in the garage. Therefore, to prevent skunk's, bears, and flies from entering the garage, we provide them a snack compost away from the house. Can you imagine the flies that would get into the house when someone in your party leaves the house entrance door ajar. Your party signed a rental agreement that clearly advises guests how to keep bugs out of the house. Every party needs to appoint a door police guy, someone who will manage the doors and walk behind others who leave them ajar. DO NOT invite mosquitos into the house by leaving the doors ajar. Mosquitos cannot pass through the screens on the windows, but if you leave the flood lights on and the widows open under the lights at night while you are fishing, no-see-ums sometimes pass through the screens. This was all spelled out for you in bold letters in your contract. Your party was again reminded at check-in to keep the doors and screen doors latched and closed. We also advise guests in writing in the rental agreement how to keep the house cool doing hot days. The agreement clearly advises guests to keep the windows and curtains closed on hot days. The three season porch is equipped with a very powerful air conditioner. Guests at check-in are advised to slide the glass door open to the dining room and use the fan provided to blow nice cool air into the upstairs home if needed. You must keep the windows closed in the basement to keep in the natural cool air.
