This luxurious beachfront 4th floor unit (unit #402) is perfect for a luxurious and relaxing vacation. Boasting world-class views of the Gulf of Mexico while providing all the comforts of home, this unit will set the stage for an unforgettable stay.

This unit (which sleeps 5) features two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped, with new cabinetry and the bulkhead and sidepost removed to open up the space. The open-concept dining area (which seats 6) and fully furnished living space leads directly onto the lanai, which is also accessible from the master bedroom. The lanai is in full view of the south-side pool as well as the gulf.

The master bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed. The walk-in closet leads to the 3/4 private bath, completely redone with new tiling, expansive shower and granite countertop. The spacious second bedroom also has a similarly renovated private bath as well as two twin-size beds. Both bedrooms and the living area are equipped with flat-screen TVs with HD cable.

For your convenience, we have included a washer, dryer, dishwasher, free Wi-Fi and a telephone. Each bed comes with two sets of fresh linens, and towels are included. Also, you will have access to a storage locker where you will find beach chairs and a beach umbrella.

The Somerset building is perfect for families, couples and groups of up to 5, with its amicable nature, quiet atmosphere and private beach entrance. It is a safe and secure building on the southwestern side of Marco Island along its famous Crescent Beach. Activities such as water sports, golfing, hiking, dolphin and alligator tours, bird-watching, and yoga are within walking distance. World-class dining is available in both casual and formal settings and a dine-in movie theatre is right across the street.

Naples is just a 30-minute drive away, and with fishing off the Pier, shops and restaurants on 5th Avenue, art exhibitions in the park and Tin City, anyone of any age can find an excellent way to spend the day.

Very nice property and condo. Marco Island is the star.

Marco Island is a wonderful place to visit with a beautiful beach. This condo is on the south side of town, putting places to eat and shop all within walking distance. The condo is well placed with terrific sunset views. Its condition is fine and very well equipped. We plan on staying here again.

Beautiful views, as pictured

The Somerset is a very nice property. Great beach access, and very maintained. We had a great time at the pool, and beach area. Baby rental was easy, and property was child friendly. Perfect patio for stunning gulf sunsets. Unit 402 is just as pictured; we look forward to our next stay!

Perfect stay!!

Unit 402 had a maintenance issue. Pre-arrival we were offered another unit. This review is for unit 702. The owner has several units in the same building which appear to be similarly updated and very nicely maintained.

Beautiful place!!! Well equipped, clean and spacious. Located in a quiet beach area, but close to water sports rentals. Perfect for viewing dolphins and gorgeous sunsets!!

Excellent vacation!

We loved this condo! It was nicely decorated, comfy, and had a wonderful view. The beach gear in the storage locker was appreciated. And the service was terrific... We had a few issues upon arrival that were dealt with immediately by the staff - over and above to our satisfaction. Highly recommend.

Beautiful gulf view

We were very impressed with the beautiful view and the well maintained property. Sitting on the lanai was magical both in the early morning watching the Dolphins and at night stargazing. There is not much better than falling asleep listening to the waves. Just a little disappointed in a few small things: the coffee maker was not in great condition, a little dirty when we got there but it worked. Also the fact that there was only one roll of toilet paper was surprising for a rental that was not inexpensive. It was nice having the beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels- that was very much appreciated. Overall we were very pleased with the rental and the location cannot be beat. Swimming pools also were in great condition and a great spot to enjoy in the afternoon. The rental is great for a family, maybe not so much for 2 couples as the second bedroom is very dark.We are definitely planning to return!

Regarding the toilet paper, as per our check-in instructions, an initial supply of toilet paper will be made available upon arrival but guests must supply all others toiletries products. Very well done unit.

We have been staying at the Somerset for 20 years. For the first 10 years we visited in-laws who rented. This was the 4th unit in the Somerset I have rented in the past 10 years and the best overall. The unit looks exactly like the pictures and is very clean - even the patio area was scrubbed and clean when we arrived - this is often not the case. The décor was well done, comfortable and the finishes were well thought out and practical. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need during your stay and has brand new appliances. My husband wanted to bring the shower home with us...the water pressure was amazing. Even the patio furniture was very high quality and very comfortable.

This is the first unit I rented with brand new sliding doors which I really appreciated the two nights we had severe storms. The old doors have a tendency to leak.

Two very minor constructive comments: 1) It would have been nice to have kitchen wash cloths. I know I could have picked up a sponge at the store for $1 but had already done my shopping before I realized this was an issue. 2) A hair dryer would have been great.

Ewlina was easy to work with and responded quickly when I had a question during our stay. We will definitely rent one her units again the next time we visit Marco.

Refundable damage deposit $500
Tax Rate 10.0%

Renters must pay 15% upfront (non-refundable) and HomeAway service fee which will be between approximately 4% and 10% of the total cost (non-refundable), the rest 60 days before the arrival date, non-refundable (includes $500 refundable damage deposit).

All inquiries will be answered within 24 hours Monday-Friday, 9am-4:30pm.

All renters must pay a $50 application fee directly to the Somerset no later than 10 days before the arrival date.

We rent only Saturday-Saturday but might be able to make an exception.
