This incredibly spacious and contemporary beachfront 3rd floor unit (unit 308) is perfect for a luxurious and relaxing vacation and was fully renovated as of December 28, 2013. Boasting world-class views of the Gulf of Mexico while providing all the comforts of home, this unit will set the stage for an unforgettable stay.
This unit (which comfortably sleeps 5) features two bedrooms, two bathrooms and an additional den. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the bulkhead and sidepost has been removed to allow for more visibility towards the living space. The open-concept dining area and fully furnished living space leads directly onto the lanai, which is also accessible from the master bedroom. The entire unit features new flooring.
The master bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, with a two-sided walk-in closet. This leads to the 3/4 private bath, completely redone with new tiling, expansive shower and granite countertop. The spacious second bedroom also has a similarly renovated private bath as well as two full-size beds. Both bedrooms and the living area are equipped with flat-screen TVs with HD cable. As an added feature, there is an additional semi-private area with a queen-size sleeper sofa that can function as a third private sleeping space. Another unique feature is the small outdoor rear-facing patio with a table and chairs.
For your convenience, we have included a washer, dryer, dishwasher, free Wi-Fi and a telephone. Each bed comes with two sets of fresh linens, and towels are included. Also, you will have access to a storage locker where you will find beach chairs and a beach umbrella.
The Somerset building is perfect for families, couples and groups of up to 5, with its amicable nature, quiet atmosphere and private beach entrance. It is a safe and secure building on the southwestern side of Marco Island along its famous Crescent Beach. Activities such as water sports, golfing, hiking, dolphin and alligator tours, bird-watching, and yoga are within walking distance. World-class dining is available in both casual and formal settings and a dine-in movie theatre is right across the street.
Naples is just a 30-minute drive away, and with fishing off the Pier, shops and restaurants on 5th Avenue, art exhibitions in the park and Tin City, anyone of any age can find an excellent way to spend the day.

A Perfect Stay at Somerset... Again!
The weather, accommodations and amenities were again perfect this year. Next year we will stay for three weeks and perhaps more in the future.
Ewelina is always responsive and helpful if we need anything during our stay. The property is the best on the Island. Looking forward to February 2019.

Perfect Vacation at The Somerest
This is the fourth different unit we've stayed in at the Somerset. Just like the other ones this was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Traveled with my husband and kids aged 24 and 25. This unit has double beds in the second room which made them much more comfortable than in past years in twin beds. We loved having our breakfast on the balcony overlooking the beautiful gulf. In the evening after an amazing day at the beach we went back out to the balcony for snacks and drinks, can't get enough of the gulf view. The owners provide everything you could want or need for a beach vacation. There is a locker downstairs with nice beach chairs, umbrella, noodles and other beach items. There is a cooler which comes in handy toting snacks and drinks to the beach. Everything here is super easy and convenient. The staff at Marctide are very accommodating and easy to work with. We highly recommend any unit that they offer. Hope to return next year.
Terrific condo! Very well maintained and perfect location to soak up the sun.
We had a great time visiting Marco Island and our condo experience set the tone. My family enjoyed the beautifully maintained condo and all the amenities at the complex...tennis, BBQ, and great beach access. The customer service was also spectacular. A couple of our beach chairs were a bit broken and after a note we had two new chairs delivered that evening. Now that is customer service. We will definitely visit again!
Nice property but dated and needs some more updating
Overall stay was good but they were renovating 3 units, 1 two doors down and they were jackhammering the floor up so it started at 8 and ended at 4. We couldn't sleep in or enjoy coffee on the balcony for 3 days of trip. Not sure why they would allow this during peak spring break time, why not wait until off season? Other than that very nice unit (308) that has been updated, very spacious and comfortable.

I would like to apologize for the construction noise unfortunately this is out of our control as the units being renovated are not our units. I completely agree with you regarding renovations being done off season but unfortunately remodels are allowed at Somerset building all year round however this is the first time since I started managing our units in 2014 that the renovations started so early in the year, up to now they were always done off season. Please kindly note that in situations like this we would be more than happy to move you to another unit, located further away from the renovated unit, unfortunately we did not have any units available for the week of your stay. I hope you will still consider renting from us in the future.
There are two tennis courts, two swimming pools and two pickleball courts on the South tennis court, very easy to set up. Fitness Center is now open!

Additional information about rental rates
Renters must pay 25% upfront (non-refundable) and HomeAway service fee which will be between approximately 5% and 12% of the total cost (non-refundable), the rest 60 days before the arrival date, non-refundable (includes $500 refundable damage deposit). All inquiries will be answered within 24 hours Monday-Friday, 9am-4:30pm. All renters must pay a $50 application fee directly to the Somerset no later than 10 days before the arrival date. We rent only Saturday-Saturday but might be able to make an exception.
