Shiplap lovers: A rustic modern farmhouse 2 bed/2ba townhouse on free shuttle

Bedrooms 2
Space 1,200 sq. ft.
Property type townhome
Minimum Stay 4 - 30 nights

About the property

Love HGTV? Then this sunny townhouse with mountain views is a must see!

Snowglobe Cottage is a sunny, mountain view townhouse with 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Sitting atop an oversized garage, this townhouse has 1200 square feet of living space. Facing the mountains, there is a view from every room, including the stairs going to the top floor!

The bottom level is an oversized attached garage with plenty of space for gear and a vehicle! The garage can be accessed from inside the unit entryway, so you won't even need to go outside before getting into a warmed car or putting on your ski boots before the 5 minute drive to the Gondola or ski lift. One level upstairs from the entryway, you'll find the a great room open concept with a fully stocked chefs kitchen. Here you will find Crate and Barrel white dishes and glassware, legit barware, baking, pots/pans, chefs knives, teapot, toaster, Cuisinart and crockpot, etc. We love to cook and believe there is nothing better après ski than good food, good company and a fire. A dishwasher, oversized washer/dryer, and double sink make cleanup easy. The washer and dryer are in a laundry room off the kitchen and an ironing board/iron/drying rack are available for use.

The main living area has 10' ceilings and is comfy and social, the kind of family room you'll play games in, talk about the trail you found, or watch a movie together on this 60' smarttv. The gas fireplace, along with dimmer lighting in the kitchen and dining areas create a cozy evening.

Sliding glass doors to a 12'x10' balcony off of the living room face the mountains. Rock on the porch swing and drink your coffee and look out at the mountains or at the stars. This unit is an end unit and there are hundreds of acres of trails beside and behind the building.

Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with tub showers are on each level with windows facing Park City resort where you'll see the SnowCats each night grooming the runs you'll hit in the morning! The upstairs bedroom has a 48" tv with cable and the main living room has a 60" smarttv with cable. Each bedroom has a queensized bed, with a twin bed available to set up along with a queen pull out Pottery Barn sleeper sofa. Each bedroom has a walk in closet with storage, hangers, and hanging shelving to unpack and make yourself at home.

The free shuttle bus Brown line has the Canyon Creek shuttle stop two minutes walk from townhouse front door where you can get to town and resorts quickly and easily twice an hour. In the clubhouse you'll have access to in/outdoor pool & hot tub and gym within 500 yards of the unit.

Come make mountain memories in Snowglobe Cottage and let Park City wow you with rustic charm, world class restaurants and mother nature.

About Arryn Waterman

Park City may have the exposure now, but the locals ski culture, the people, the small town/big personality and even bigger mountains. Because we love this town and come here for our on vacations, I take a lot of pride in the upkeep, décor and cleanliness. This building and complex are full of kind neighbors and folks who have a passion for the outdoors and even make it their livelihood. I invite you to share wonderful memories in a place that is very special. Warm your toes by the fire, your hearts with one another and bike, hike or ski the Wasatch mountains here in Park City, only 20 minutes from the SLC airport!

Arryn Waterman purchased this townhome in 2013

Why Arryn Waterman chose Park City

The space you'll get at this two story townhome provides much privacy in a land of condos. If you have rental cars, you'll love the oversized garage plus tandem parking spot in front of the garage. No car? No problem! It's right on the free shuttle route around Park City (and by right on I literally mean 150 yards out the front door of the townhouse!) The outdoor pool is one of only a handful around the Park City condo complexs to choose from. There is an outdoor hot tub, as well as an indoor hot tub inside the clubhouse, as well. The entire complex backs up to the Swanner Trails maintained for multiuse of hiking/single track bikes/running, etc. The complex is walkable to Newpark / Redstone Center where you can listen to outdoor concerts in the summer and enjoy restaurants, shops, coffee, grocery stores, etc.

What makes this townhome unique

Not many condo complexs in Park City have indoor/outdoor pools/hot tubs and work out facilities included and this does! While on a map this looks close to I80, you can't hear any traffic from inside or outside the townhouse. Hiking trailheads are even walkable from the unit since it backs up to trails and wildlife preserves, where elk like to strike an elegant pose from a few hundred yards away at times. At the end of the day, once you see all these stars on a clear crisp night, you will sleep soundly after a day of playing in this great outdoors!

Excellent spot to stay for a ski trip.

  • 5 of 5

Myself, my wife, and a couple we are friends with stayed at this lovely Park City property for four nights during a ski trip. The location is excellent - close to the slopes and any needed amenities, and a quick Uber from downtown Park City. We loved some of the games, the shared hot tub access, and the convenience of it all. Would stay here again!

Great Townhome and Location - Close to Park City Mountain Resort

  • 5 of 5

Arryn, the homeowner, was gracious and responsive to all our questions and needs prior to our arrival and even during our stay. It was nice to deal with Arryn directly and bypass any property management or third party for check in and check out and any questions. Very convenient check in and check out, as it was all in one location at the house.

Arryn was even gracious enough to grant us an extremely late checkout so that we could ski a full day and then come back to the condo to shower and collect our stuff before hitting the road. That was above and beyond!

The condo was clean, spacious (sleeps 6 comfortably), and had every modern convenience, including two flatscreen TVs and a working DVD player. The complex was very quiet and conveniently located with very easy access to the local ski resorts, restaurants, shopping and the freeway.

We will be staying here again next year for our Park City ski vacation. Thanks Arryn!

During the winter months, enjoy skiing, snowboarding and other snow sports, such as cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and tubing, at the sites that hosted the Olympic Winter Games in 2002. In warmer weather, you'll find plenty of golf, hiking, biking, and horseback riding throughout Park City, as well as boating and fishing in nearby reservoirs and streams.

Across the street is a year-round, world-class facility that develops winter sport athletes through competition, training and recreational programs, the Utah Olympic Park welcomed 300,000-plus visitors during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. During the 16 days of competitions, the UOP was the site of 14 events, with three in ski jumping, three in Nordic combined, three in bobsled, three in luge and two in skeleton.
