Nestled in the cliffs overlooking the ocean, this two bedroom condominium offers you panoramic views of the Sea of Cortez. Located at Misiones del Cabo, the resort offers an exceptional location, dramatic views, safe swimming on two beaches and a wide range of guest services.
From the moment you arrive you'll feel the difference. Enjoy spectacular sunrises and dramatic views as you enjoy your morning coffee on the oversize balcony (bring your binoculars). The balcony has both a dining area and a futon sofa for enjoying the views.
Both large bedrooms contain king beds with one having an ocean view and the other a mountain view. And each bedroom enjoys its own private bathroom with shower and tub. The living room includes a 25 inch color TV, VCR, stereo, CD player and plenty of room for up to six people. There is also a queen size aerobed mattress that easily fits into the livingroom for additional sleeping accomodations. And yes, you can hear the sounds of the ocean when you sleep at night.
Wireless broadband DSL is available at the resort. It is accessible around the pool and on the balcony.
The full size kitchen is complete with all the amenities for preparing all meals, and the oversize balcony includes plenty of room for enjoying views of the pool area and Sea of Cortez.
The resort features a guarded, gated entrance, two large swimming pools with spa and swim-up palapa bars, two restaurants, two lighted tennis courts, convenience store, free parking and laundry service.
Both beaches are a two minute walk from the condominium, with snorkeling and kayaking equipment available for rent on the private, secluded beach, and you'll never encounter annoying beach vendors here like you will on the main beach.
The new Costco is located less than a mile away, and with the addition of supermarkets like Soriana's, CCC's and City Club, you'll be able to find almost any grocery item you need.
This is newly furnished, non-smoking condominium that offers plenty of room for a group of six or the perfect set up for two or three couples.

Our family traveled to Mexico often and had some incredible vacations. We enjoyed visiting many different Mexican cities, and then we happened upon Cabo. There was just something magical here. We found ourselves being disappointed in other vacation spots and returning to Cabo more and more often.
The Owner purchased this condo in 2004
We purchased our first vacation condo at Misiones del Cabo in 2004. This turned out to be the perfect location! Misiones is only about 3 miles from downtown Cabo and has an awesome view of Land’s End. The resort had all the amenities we were looking for withaccess to two beautiful pools, one with a swim up bar, and a gorgeous private beach with great snorkeling. We loved it so much two years later we purchased a second condo.
One of my favorite times in this magical place is waking up to the sun rise and having coffee on the balcony as I sit mesmerized by the majesty but serenity of the ocean. Sometimes I catch the whales playing in the distance and I think they are as happy as I am to be here!
We can't say enough good things about our stay in this condo! From walking into an impeccably clean environment to Lori's consideration of letting us stay later into the afternoon as we flew out at 5pm, everything was so enjoyable. The view was lovely, the pool so clean and well maintained and the great little restaurant with the best fish tacos we have ever eaten, was a hit. There were plenty of towels and beach gear and easy access to a wonderful snorkelling beach, and a nice hike over to a long stunning beach with virtually no one one it.
If you are not a walker the hill up to catch the bus might be a bit much, but there were always taxis available and a great little shop with great prices right next door.
Lori's condo was exactly as pictured and described. We absolutely loved staying here! The snorkeling beach and the surfer's beach are both a very short stroll from the condo, and both beaches are beautiful and uncrowded. We snorkeled every day during our 10 day stay, and loved every minute of it! The food at the pool bar is very good; highly recommend the Wednesday night buffet. We also enjoyed the food at the little shop near the gate. The bus system is very easy to navigate, but the taxis are always right outside the gate if you need one. One of our favorite memories from our trip is sitting at the balcony, enjoying our morning cup of tea, while watching the sunrise and the whales playing in the ocean. This is a wonderful condo and we definitely plan to stay here again (hopefully next year)!
We stayed here for a week with our middle school aged kids. It was so wonderful waking up in the morning and watching the whales from the balcony while enjoying breakfast. The beach is great for snorkeling most of the time but it did get a little rough some days. The little market nearby was staffed with very friendly people and they even make breakfast and lunch from scratch every day and it is quite good. Admittedly our first two days were a little rough as the power cord for the wifi was gone and there was some loud dripping noise you could hear above the master bedroom all night. To top off matters, it was a Mexican holiday weekend so we were told there may be nothing that could be done until Tuesday. However, Lori's property manager was able to coordinate with the maintenance man to get us a new cable the next day and fortunately whatever caused the noise disappeared for the remainder of our trip. I had also spoken with Lori directly and she was willing to do her best to make things right. The coffee maker broke a few days later but was promptly replaced with a brand new one. The property definitely seems to appeal to an older crowd but we really loved how peaceful and quiet it was compared to some of the hotels we saw in town. I would have loved it if the screen doors were functional so we could keep the doors open without worrying about flies getting in and there were some knobs missing on the dressers in both rooms. Also, a hot tub at the property would have been fantastic. Overall my family had a great time for our first trip to Cabo and I would consider staying here again.
We visited our daughter and family twice and stayed at Lori's both times. Everything was in great order, even after the recent hurricane. Pool is easily accessible and there are spectacular sunsets and ocean views from the deck. All around, a great condo with all the comforts of home! We anticipate leasing this condo again in the future. A great experience!
The apartment was great for our family of five. The apartment was comfortable in size and amenities. Its location to the pool and the pool itself was ideal- for quiet family time and casual conversations with other renters. My daughter became fast friends with the grandchildren of an owner- that made her stay significantly more fun (she is ten and her brothers are teenagers). The beach below Misiones is beautiful and offers good shell and sea glass collecting-just as a word of caution-the gate was never shut until our second to last day-where I got locked onto the beach...my keys did not work- take a minute to look at the lock mechanism so if that does happen, you know how to open the gate.
Having a car gave us a lot of opportunity to explore: going to Dos Santos (enjoying the abundance of art) & La Playa de Cerritos, venturing to San Jose, La Paz, and regular trips to Cabo San Lucas. Dining at Cabo Wabo, Asi Asado, Villa Serena were very good. A sunset cocktail at the Sunset Grill (DeMona Lisa) is a must for the view alone...and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the pizza. Also, The Container at the marina in San Jose Del Cabo was a nice change from downtown Cabo San Lucas. Our planned excursions were not as successful as our spontaneous ones. I relied on people to book the events and I should have done it myself to make sure I got what we wanted (I worried that the height of the holiday week activities would be booked solid- but there seemed to be a plethora of availability.)
The reason I did not give a full star rating to the condo were a collection of minor issues having to do with wear from use: the master bath's sink was broken (it was repaired the day after we arrived), knobs on drawers were loose (and one missing in other bathroom), the patio screen door did not properly slide shut, (so ...my husband flipped it over because the barings were worn out on the bottom but not on the top), the patio seat cushions were worn to tatters -I flipped over the ones I could...the good side of two had cigarette burns, the front screen door did not latch shut....These were minor issues. I think arriving on Christmas presented challenges- the apartment wasn't ready for us.
The laundry was great to have. There were plenty of towels. The kitchen was well supplied with appliances and cutlery. The kids enjoyed having Netflix at night for movies.
Overall, a great experience. We appreciated the general comfort & location!
This is our second time staying at Lori's condo, and we weren't disappointed! Great ocean views from the living room and master... The condo itself is in good shape, even post-hurricane. Love the addition of a SmartTV and Netflix this year. We very much appreciated having a strong wifi signal, with private wireless internet for just this unit. The condo is in a perfect location, close to parking, an easy walk to the pool, and just a five minute walk to the beach. The resort is beautiful! The grounds are well kept, plenty of parking, and the pool and swim up bar are amazing. Can't wait for our next visit to Cabo…!
