Us: Four adults in our 30s and two kids ages 5 and 8.
Great view, very private setting, good beach access, plenty of beds, bathrooms and parking. Washer and dryer. Eagles seen daily, uncrowded beach, walking distance to a restaurant and easy drive to all Newport has to offer. Easy driving distance to several amazing day trips up and down the coast. All in all, a great location for a basecamp during our stay on the coast.
Not so Good:
Huge pile of garbage and recyclables from previous guests overflowed the outside garbage facilities and was torn apart by birds or animals during our stay. We called the management and someone came out with a truck but only took some of the garbage, leaving most of it behind. Mildewy moldy smell in the house. Very dated, mismatched, broken kitchen cookware and utensils made cooking a challenge. Lack of basic kitchen items like oil, spices, tinfoil, etc was a disappointment and again made cooking difficult. The wood stove was nice but there was no wood, kindling or newspaper available.
Overall: Not terrible, but it could be so much better with a few simple improvements. As another reviewer said, it's better to think of it as more of a cabin than a beach house.

We arrived to an overflowing pile of garbage in the waste containers. We contacted the property management three times and had absolutely no response to the situation and had to pile garbage for 8 people inside the cabin for 5 days so animals didn't ravage the garbage. The cabin had a great view, but the cleanliness and supplies were inadequate. We would not stay here again.
Yes this is a great view and the home is just right if you stay outside on the deck.
The bed were ok, not great. When we arrived the trash had not been taken from the previous guests so we had to call and they took out the next day. The towels were all damp and wet that were hanging up and also in the drawer. Dryer does not work, needs new heating element. There is enough utensils and pots and pans for cooking. We did a crab boil and cooked a lot during a 5 day stay. Gas grill worked good. Lots of hot water for showers. The home wasn't very clean as far as the rugs and cobwebs in most of the rooms. Its more like camping out at a cabin that hadn't been stayed in for awhile.
But when you go out on the desk which is where we spent most of out time it was great! So if you don't need all the fancy furnishings and foo foo, this is a good place to stay. Walk down to the beach was not difficult for us. But if you are physically challenged it would be difficult for some for the climb back to the home. Loved the area, it was easy to drive up and down the coast.
I loved everyday I was here. The cabin was everything I hoped for and more!! The view was perfect! It was my first time to visit Oregon and I really felt like I got the whole Oregon experience staying at this cabin. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with me and my family.
