This cozy home is centrally located - it's only a five-minute drive to Kings Beach and ten minutes across the Nevada state line to the area's historic casinos and nightlife.
This three-level home is bright and airy with a decidedly western decor. A wood-burning fireplace invites cozy nights in. You can head to the deck in the summer via the sliding glass doors and grill your catch as you enjoy the fresh mountain breeze. Recline on the soft leather couch or watch a DVD on the TV.
The well-stocked kitchen will please even the most jaded of chef, who will enjoy the array of kitchen accoutrements available, from a gas range to a dishwasher. Dine on your repast at the cozy four-seat wooden dining room set.
Head down the stairs to two-thirds of the sleeping quarters. You'll find one room with a king bed with a blue coverlet and a photo on the wall. Another bedroom with two sets of bunk beds is perfect for children or young adults. The two bedrooms share a cute full bathroom.
From the main story, head up one flight to the master suite. Here you'll find a king bed with blue coverlet, artwork dotting the walls and an en-suite bathroom as well as a sliding glass door leading to the outdoor deck.
Guests have access to a washer and dryer as well as free WiFi. And then there's the community amenities, which include access - with a fee - to the NPOA Recreation Center's heated indoor pool, seasonal outdoor pool, outdoor hot tubs, saunas, and fitness room.
Northstar has plenty to offer anyone looking to have fun in the sun or under the cover of snow. An 18-hole golf course will delight the duffer in your group. Ride the gondola up the mountain and mountain bike back down. Horseback riding and hiking are also available in the summer. You can skate at the local rink in the winter and have a nosh at one of the many cute eateries in town. Skiers aren't neglected here, natch. Spend the day on the slopes, enjoying nearly 4,000 acres of powder. If you don't want to ski, you can also tube or snowshoe to your heart's content.
Whether you want to hit the slope, hike, or take in a show, this North Lake Tahoe vacation rental provides an ideal retreat for your next California mountain vacation!
The property is all plywood and not comfy. Price was really good and we were all guys looking for a ski weekend, so it worked fine. I wouldn't come here with my family - for the price, it was really not updated. Owner has put in the basic stuff required to make it livable but it feels like the place is falling apart.
We enjoyed our stay! The service from Vacasa was great!
Overall a really cozy and convenient home for our group of 6 adults and 2 kids.
1970's tri-level townhouse. Rustic decor, in the woods, comfortable, cable TV, lots of hot water. I would stay here again.
We took our two kids to Northstar to ice skate, snowborad and play in the snow. This property was perfect and the Vacasa staff were excellent. We registered at midnight before our arrival at 7 pm later that day. It all worked out fantastic! Love the unit and the late check out feature.
This property is all original except the carpet. Plugs loose, furniture worn, showers leaked. Desperately needs to be upgraded. Cleaning service had not made it there by checkin time at 4pm so we were unable to eat in but we were too late to make reservations and all Village restaurants had a 2 hr wait! Had to call next day for paper towels, garbage bags and towels. Will not be staying there again unfortunately.
