Our holiday house, which is divided into two spacious, well-equipped apartments, is built in the traditional Cycladic style. It is situated on the hillside at Tzane above Golden Beach, the longest sandy beach on Paros. The house has a spectacular coastal view and allows you to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the island whilst escaping the rush and pressures of everyday life. With our warm and friendly family atmosphere we are sure you will feel at home.

A very comfortable, relaxing, and most important very friendly (our host Gaby and family) 3 week stay.
Surrounded by open countryside and views to the sea, no matter what time of day, peace and tranquillity.
An ideal place as a base for exploring by car or walking to the many beaches, small villages with their tavernas and souvlakia bars and the people so friendly.
Our host Gaby no matter what your request, within reason, was always promptly attended to.
Yes a very enjoyable, and memorable stay, leaving with a tear in our eyes, and yes with hand on heart if possible, will return next year.

Outside your front door is a terrace, above the garden (roses, herbs, honeysuckle, etc), where you can sit and take in the panoramic view of the Aegean Sea and the island of Naxos and several other Cycladic islands and minor islets. It is a peaceful and beautiful place to relax, read, drink a glass of local wine, or just to contemplate life.
Inside the apartment there is everything you could possibly need to enjoy a stay on Paros. We will always remember the personal kindnesses of the Swiss landlady, Gabby, and her Greek family - but the practical matters were also exceedingly well managed. The bathroom has a bath, good shower over, and is nicely fitted (open the shutters for a view of the next field, with goats); and the toilet flushes ‘the papers’. The bedroom is dual aspect, with comfy beds, nice wooden floor and ceiling, air-con, and plenty of wardrobe space. The living room (same lovely floors & ceiling) is large and comfortable for up to four guests, with air-con, TV, DVD/radio and adequate dining facilities. The largest (picture) window allows light and air – with mozzie protection – and provides a wonderful country and coastal vista. The kitchen facilities are extensive and high quality, easily sufficient for substantial home catering.
The servicing of the apartment was excellent: it was spotless on arrival and thoroughly refreshed each week, linens/towels twice a week. Consumables in the bathroom and kitchen were regularly replenished; we didn’t buy any soap or detergent, bin bags or bleach or toilet rolls, or mozzie tablets, or olive oil (gift of Villa’s own) in the several weeks we stayed. Nor did we wash any clothes, as the landlady was happy to do that – but not the ironing (there is an iron and board, of course.) So don’t bother taking a tea-towel, do enjoy the welcome bottle of good local wine, do cut some flowers for the vase, or fresh rosemary for your lamb.
We used Golden Beach, about 15 minutes walk down, and Naoussa and its beaches, about 25 minutes drive away. The bus to the capital, Parikia, costs about 5 euros return and takes 40 minutes each way – it is infrequent in the low season. A car is useful for shopping and extends the choice of tavernas, but we managed most of the time by foot and bus (and lifts from Gabby!). We enjoyed lunches out at Alyki and Naoussa, and dinners in Drios, but we also stayed home for evening meals more than we usually do, as it was easy, and so pleasant to eat on THAT terrace.
A holiday to remember, made even better by the accommodation which is set in beatiful surroundings. The owner Gaby, along with husband George & children Daliana and Nikolas combine Greek hospitality and Swiss efficiency to make their holiday house really special.
Clean, comfortable, and welcoming with homely touches and even a bath, what more could one want.
We are now planning our third visit to this exceptional apartment. The accommodation is spacious, comfortable, equipped to a very high standard and the cleanest we have ever rented abroad. There is a full bathroom with bath and shower, unusual for Greek properties in our experience. The owner is very friendly and helpful, providing tips and information on places to visit, best beaches and where to eat etc. Nothing is too much trouble for her, meeting us from the ferry on our first visit and organising car rental. Customer service was second to none and we would certainly recommend the property to those who want a relaxing holiday on a relatively unspoilt and uncommercial island (at the moment). Tavernas are good and inexpensive, each with their own character. Excellent local supermarkets for those who wish to cater for themselves in the well equipped kitchen. We enjoy the quieter periods of the year with peaceful evenings sat on the terrace with a glass of local wine, overlooking the sea.
To explore the Island fully and take advantage of the smaller and quieter beaches we would recommend hiring a car or other transportation. Boat trips to other islands e.g. Santorini are available from nearby Piso Livardi.
We have visited many Greek Islands and rented private accommodation but this is the best holiday rental we have ever experienced and the only one we have returned to.

Bellissima vacanza a Paros!

Consigliamo vivamente Villa Daliana,
We live on the south-eastern side of the island above and overlooking Golden Beach. This beach is not only much enjoyed by swimmers but is also a very popular beach for those who enjoy water sports and particularly for windsurfers. There are two windsurfing stations on the beach offering instruction and also equipment for hire. Other water sports are available as well. Golden Beach is ideal and safe for small children.
