This lovingly appointed Big Sky vacation home is the perfect retreat for skiers and nature lovers. We have gorgeous unobstructed mountain views AND you can walk to town!

Our town home offers more than 1800 square feet, and comfortably sleeps up to six people. It has two beautiful queen bedded suites, each with full, attached baths, and a loft with a queen sofa sleeper. And for the working get-away, the loft can be used as an office. Satellite TV, a private outdoor hot tub, and a rock fireplace offer relaxing luxury with the spectacular mountain view you'd expect in this natural wonderland. You might even see deer or moose!

Big Sky is a skier's paradise with three mountains, 3600 acres of terrain consisting of 85 miles of named runs, and the longest vertical drop in the US (4350 feet!) AND no lift lines. For the cross country skier, there are 45 miles of cross country trails. You can also check out Moonlight Basin which is Big Sky's newest ski resort.

About Lissa Karron and Robert Goerge

We are a family of three living in Chicago and love the wide open spaces and natural beauty that Montana has to offer. We also love 'creature comforts' and have appointed our home with everything a visitor might want or need!

Lissa Karron and Robert Goerge purchased this townhome in 2002

Why Lissa Karron and Robert Goerge chose Montana

From the moment we went to explore Big Sky, we fell in love. We loved the access to wild places that have been virtually untouched. You can walk on forest trails where the only other living thing you might see is a deer or a grouse. At the same time, you can easily seek out moose and elk-- and head to Yellowstone National Park for a day of natural wonders. In addition, Big Sky offers wonderful restaurants and amenities. Our home has the best views in the complex, so you will be sure to sit the private hot tub-- either under the stars at night or with the glorious mountain views during the day.

What makes this townhome unique

Our home is a home away from home. We offer everything from a well-appointed kitchen to firewood for a comfortable stay. You are close to town yet have the privacy of a mountainside retreat with million dollar Montana views!

Immaculately clean, well appointed and centrally located condo with beautiful view

  • 5 of 5

My husband, two teenage children and myself spent six nights in this fantastic Big Sky condo in August as we combined vacation with college hunting. My first impressions after getting settled was how immaculately clean it was and how gorgeous the views were! We found the size and layout to be just right for the four of us, we were comfortably able to congregate in the central living area while also having plenty of space when we needed time apart from one another. All of the amenities were as described; I was particularly glad to see the high quality blow-dryer with multiple heat settings :) The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels etc available. The beds were very comfortable and the frames were gorgeous! The sofa bed wasn't as comfortable, but it still worked fine for my son. The owner, Lissa, was extremely helpful and accommodating. When she found out we'd be spending time in Butte, Bozeman and Yellowstone, she sent tons of fantastic recommendations and ideas for things to do. She did the same for the town of Big Sky, from restaurants and coffee shops to what hiking trails we should be sure not to miss. The condo is located in very close proximity to Big Sky, we never drove down; we were able to easily walk into town. At Lissa's recommendation we visited the Farmer's market and also the free outdoor concert in town as well. So much fun! We weren't able to enjoy the fireplace (it was too warm outside) or the hot tub, maybe next time. We all agreed that we made the right choice to stay in Lissa's condo and we would gladly do so again!

Great condo! Great location! Awesome mountain!

  • 5 of 5

Highly recommend this condo -- beautiful inside, fireplace, nice kitchen, roomy, hot tub on deck, private garage. Its in super condition; the photos don't do it justice. The location is great too -- about a 10 minute drive to Big Sky, and very close to a little downtown area with shops, grocery store and reasonable restaurants. Plus beautiful views from the front window. Only downside is the pull-out couch in the loft is not comfortable to sleep on -- maybe a futon would be better?? I hesitate to recommend because we want to save this place for ourselves next year!

This really is a home - not just a rental property

  • 5 of 5

This is a lovely property - comfortable, warm and very well equipped.

We stayed in Big Sky in Jan/Feb 2016 when it was very cold outside - the condo was always warm and welcoming when we got in after a day on the slopes. We never even needed the fire which was available together with enough wood for the season!

On arrival, the house was immaculately clean. It is exceptionally well equipped with everything needed for a vacation and loads more besides. It is clearly used as a home and just not set up as a rental property. The settees / chairs are really comfortable and there is loads of space which is something one cannot say about every rental. The garage is a real plus in the winter and I'm sure the hot tub is good too - though we didn't brave the elements to use it!

All in all, we were very happy with this property and would unhesitatingly recommend it.

Fantastic base for a Big Sky Ski trip

  • 5 of 5

Renting Lissa and Robert's condo for 5 nights proved to be great decision for our 4 day Big Sky ski vacation. Plenty of room to spread out, prepare, and relax. We really liked the oversize garage with a door height that accommodated our car top storage unit and was attached directly to a very well laid out mud room. The kitchen was well appointed and the unit well stocked (Kleenex, napkins, paper towels, bath towels, hot tub towels, etc). The hot tub located on a deck overlooking the village of Big Sky was great. Nice large table to gather around for eating and games. Lissa's did a fantastic job of keeping in touch with us and letting us know what we needed to know without being intrusive. Damage deposit was promptly refunded without any follow-up on our end. We would not hesitate to rent this unit again next year.

Wonderful condo.

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic stay in Big Sky. The condo had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. Comfortable beds, relaxing fireplace, sparkling view of the Meadows below, and enough space to spread out as a family. Since it was cold while we were in Big Sky, the heated garage that was big enough for our SUV with Rocket boxes to fit inside was extremely beneficial. Mud room downstairs allowed us to warm up all of our ski gear each night. And of course the hot tub on the porch overlooking the town below was a perfect end to the day! Thank you so much Lissa.
