The villa is located in the harmonious landscape of the slopes of the nature reserve Caldera de Taburiente in the sunny west of the island with wonderful views of the Atlantic Ocean and wooded mountainsides. Excursion to the south to the volcanoes (last eruption 1971) and to the remarkable saltwater saline with remarkable restaurant. - The handmade natural salt has been honored with quality awards.
In the north of the island you will find magnificent, secluded landscapes and the highest mountain of the island, Roque de los Muchachos (Mountain of the Wild Things) with astronomical observatories and an unforgettable panoramic view over the island and in good weather also views of the neighboring islands of Tenerife (with the Teide, Spain's highest mountain), La Gomera and El Hierro.
The island's capital Santa Cruz de La Palma is worth a visit; Visit possible in the morning until 13 o'clock, because then it is particularly lively; old city center, town hall courtyard, cathedral, island museum, replica of the Santa Maria of Columbus, idyllic old market hall, two beautiful theaters with frequent concerts, many beautiful cafes and Spanish tapas bars; recently a city beach artificially created, which will be used from 2018.
