2 Bedroom 1 Bathroom House Under 100 Year Old Oak Tree

In 2017 a high end tankless hot water on demand system was installed. You could shower all morning long and never run out of hot water. Also installed in 2017 is a brand new Bryant forced air high efficiency two stage furnace and industrial silent Air Conditioning unit. All modern appliances included and the fully equipped kitchen will help you make delicious meals during your stay. The professional quality dishwasher will make clean up a breeze! The addition of a top of the line brand new natural gas BBQ means tons of cooking space and never having to check or change a propane tank. Just rest assured that you can BBQ anytime you want. Relax the night away after dinner watching the 50 inch Smart TV in the living room. The clean recently remodeled bathroom has a tub and shower combo along with a large sink fit for two. A large portion of the backyard is paved with bricks along side a huge back wooden deck; all of which sits under a massive 100 year old tree. The tree offers shade all over the backyard. But don't worry you can still find plenty of places to catch some rays if tanning is your preference. There is ample parking for your car outback in the rear facing driveway.

You will also have access to 2 Smart TVs with cable, wireless internet, a Playstation3 and a washer/dryer for laundry.

There is enough room for two bicycles or your Golf bags beside the washer by the back door. And the whole city is just a short bicycle away not to mention how fast it is to one of the very famous Kettle Valley Trail entrances that run past Penticton. There is a large sports complex nearby the house with a gym/pool/spa. If you want to take in a dinner and a movie a very tasty Bogner's farm to table restaurant and the theater are both very close. A very famous German style sausage maker/deli Grimm is just one block away(Get your steak for the BBQing here, yum). You can even find a Timmies and a shopping complex in the vicinity. The Harmony House is also located just 3 blocks from the South Okanagan Event Centre and the Okanagan Hockey School. And a short and scenic drive through well maintained mountain roads will get you to the Apex Ski Resort for a day of family fun.

Once the booking has been confirmed you will be emailed a passcode to the resortlock style backdoor entrance that will only work for the dates you are booked for and only on the back door. A major convenience of this system is it allows simple and efficient late night check ins if arriving after a long drive.It is recommended to park in the back lane and the large 12ft gate rolls either inward or outward.

Great Location

This home is in a great location to leave your car in the driveway and walk to the beach, the Saturday market and Main Street restaurants. Was perfect for my visit to Penticton!

Affordable, comfortable and clean!

Don't judge a book by it's cover! The outside needs a little work on the decks and landscaping, but the inside is perfectly fine! It's comfortable, well-stocked, clean, and bright with natural light in the living spaces. It's close to everything (beach, restaurants, downtown), yet far enough away from the craziness of the beach to be relaxing. Roham was an exceptional, kind, gracious host. We highly recommend staying at the Harmony House!

Great stay, good location

All the amenities available. Needs TLC on the deck and an update to wash machine and dryer.

Thank you for adding Air Conditioning. Could not have survived the two 34 degree days without it.

Great for 4 people. Great BBQ! The most beautiful BIG maple tree for shade to sit on the back deck.

I would certainly recommend this property.

Clean house, updated bathroom

A/C wasn't working the entire 4 nights we stayed starting June.29th/17. Was over 29° at night inside the house. Tough on the kids at night.Emailed owner about this, no response. Ever. Called property manager. She replied our last day by bringing two fans. There was a repairman at the rental at 8 am the morning of our check out with property manager. Property management left garbage bins overflowing from previous tenants upon our arrival. She came by the rental three times during our 4 night stay. Mostly unannounced. There was a warning text about the 8am repairman visit the night before. Very overgrown yards. Other than that it supplied everything we needed. Good location.

Owner's Response: Hello Randy. Thank you for the booking and review. We are sorry you felt it was only a 3 star experience. We strive for 5 stars plus. You forgot to mention the emergency window air conditioner we had installed, the two brand new fans were there just to circulate that air. I'm also surprised to see you say my property manager didn't contact you until your last day but in the same review you state she was there multiple times. Of course she was there often, we are very attentive, responsive, and this situation needed extra effort to resolve. Thankfully all future guests will be blessed with a brand new 2017 Bryant high efficiency forced air furnace and air conditioning. Now the real problem here is you only booked for 2 adults and never mentioned the fact children would be coming along with you. There are extra costs involved with hosting more people at the house which you are unfairly neglecting. Good luck in your future travel accommodations.

Excellent base for vacation

We were in the Okanagan to do the Oliver 1/2 Ironman and some mountain biking. This lovely home in Penticton provided us will all the amenities we needed for a home away from home. Also it is conveniently located near the lake and waterpark/playground.
