Midtown Apartment Rental Photos and Description

3 Bedroom 1.5 Bathroom

On the southern border of Chelsea sits this oversized and sunfilled 3 bed/ 2 marble bath duplex. At approximately 1600 SF there is certainly no shortage of space. In addition to the wonderful size of the apartment, the exposed brick which lines the eastern wall gives it a flavor of New York unlike any other.

On the main floor you will find the heart of the unit. Here lies the modern kitchen featuring frosted glass cabinets, a breakfast bar with stools and stainless steel appliances. The large living room features a sofabed and loveseat combo as well as a large dining table with seating for six. Two of the units three bedroom are also found on this level. Both bedrooms feature queen sized beds. There is also a full bathroom here.

Just down the steps we find the units third bedroom. This master suites also has a queen bed as well as another sleeper loveseat. The half bathroom is here too as well as a washer and dryer.

All added there is ample sleeping space for up to 8 adults. In addition to the amenities listed above, the unit is stocked with linens, towels, dinnerware, cooking ware, iron and ironing board. The living room has a 40 inch LED TV with cable television and WIFI service.

The retail stores of Chelsea reflect the ethnic and social diversity of the area's population. Ethnic restaurants, delis and clothing boutiques are plentiful. Tekserve, a vast Apple computer repair shop, serves nearby Silicon Alley and the area's large creative community. The Chelsea Lofts district the former fur and flower district is located roughly between Sixth and Seventh Avenues from 23rd to 30th streets.

Most recently, Chelsea has become an alternative shopping destination with Barneys CO-OP - which replaced the much larger original Barneys flagship store - Comme des Garcons, and Balenciaga boutiques, as well as being near Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, Christian Louboutin. Chelsea Market, on the ground floor of the former Nabisco Building, is a destination for food lovers.

Just two blocks from F, M, L, 1, 2, 3 trains, and 5 min to Union Square subway station, served by the 4 5 6 L N Q R trains.

Nice location

  • 4 of 5

This apartment was in a great location for our family trip to NYC. It was close to subways and has a natural grocery on one corner and Mcd's on the other corner which was convenient while traveling with kids and great place to grab that first cup of morning coffee. The apartment was very clean and updated with excellent Wifi service. The only draw back was noise from the street at the night, the upstairs bedrooms are on the street side. Each room had a window mount AC unit which helped keep us cool during the very hot humid nights, except one night it got so humid the AC unit in our room stopped blowing cool air and I noticed it had frozen solid, we turned it off for a few hours to let it thaw out and never had another problem with it. The washer and drier were a huge advantage again traveling with kids, somethings you cant wait till you get home to wash. The management co was great and answered all our questions promptly, our only real problem was getting to the apartment the first day from JFK by subway, several lines and stations were down for repairs, so a supposed one hour trip turned into 3hr. thankfully a local turned us on to an app that showed us which subways were being worked on and when, which helped a lot during our visit. If your planning a trip to NYC I would recommend this property, its comfortable, great location to call home base during our one week stay.

Roomy, perfectly located flat in Chelsea

  • 4 of 5

Our family of 4 had a great time in this flat in NYC. This flat was convenient to everything- food, subway! It was clean and exactly as represented. Lots of towels, blankets, etc. The room air conditioners kept things perfectly cool. Plenty of hot water. Quiet street and building, and very safe feeling. Check in was quick and efficient, although verify everything with them before you go. I didn't receive any communication from them in the week leading up to our rental and kinda panicked. When I reached out to them, though, they were very kind. We had Italian food delivered form a neighborhood restaurant one night when we were too tired to walk another step. Great grocery and liquor stores at the end of the block. We sued Uber frequently and were always picked up within 5 minutes! Rent this place!

Loved the chelsea

  • 5 of 5

Five women staying at the Chelsea for five nights. Everything was great - location, accommodation, helpful and professional hosts! In addition, we received timely and informative emails and phone calls. Cant say enough about the apartment itself. There was lots of room for the five of us. It was clean and met/exceeded our expectations. the location was perfect. Close to the subway and close to an excellent market. Definitely recommended.

Spacious and clean Chelsea duplex

  • 4 of 5

This was a Mother/daughters trip to the city and we stayed 4 nights in early March. A leasing agent met us in the duplex to give us our keys. She was very pleasant and showed us around and how to use the cable box, entry keys, etc. Prior to arrival, Ralph and his staff answered my email questions very promptly. There isn't much info online about the place so I had several questions.

There are 2 bedrooms with comfortable queen beds on the main floor which face the street level. Each has a dresser and one has a closet. It's a pretty quiet street. We occasionally heard neighbors footsteps passing by the outside of our front door (which is inside the building) as they went to their units behind and above us but it was not bothersome. The downstairs has an open concept larger third bedroom with another queen bed/closet and a fold out couch. A washer dryer unit and half bath also are on the bottom level.

The kitchen is on the main floor upstairs and has basic cooking utensils, dishes and coffeemaker, toaster, refrigerator. No spices, food, or coffee provided so bring your own. It opens up to the family room which has comfortable couches, and a big screen TV. The barstools were wobbly or broken? Floors are nice hardwood. Each room has its own heater on the wall and the baseboard heaters worked better upstairs than downstairs. There were window AC units in all the closets for summer. The kitchen has just basic cooking utensils, dishes and coffeemaker, toaster, refrigerator.

There are 2 blow dryers in the unit and plenty of towels. No body soap or shampoo/conditioner are provided so bring your own. There is a fantastic grocery store about a block away called Westside Market with a bakery, deli and anything you need to stock up on. Chelsea Market Shops and the High Line are nearby also. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it as a fantastic alternative to a hotel !
