Outstanding Vacation Getaway

  • 5 of 5

The home is well maintained and spacious with three large bedrooms, family room, dining room, kitchen, two baths, and sitting room. The home is located near the end of a cul-du-sac with very little traffic. This is the fourth year we have been here and enjoy it very much.

The back yard over looks a canal which connects to the Gulf of Mexico. It is very relaxing to sit in the back yard and watch the fish jump out of the water and see them swim around at night. They have added an above ground pool in the back yard since we were here last year.

It is far enough away from the heavy congestion of many parts of Florida, but within reasonable driving distances to Tampa, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, Orlando.

We enjoyed visiting the USA, Webster, and Oldsmar flea markets along with Renningers Antiques.

We purchased a combination season pass to Busch Gardens and Sea World and took advantage of the many free concerts provided.

We have visited the manatees at Homosassa Springs and TECO power plant.

John and LeAnn, the owners are most gracious hosts, and very eager to make our stay enjoyable. We would highly recommend this property.

Great Location, nice house. Would recommend.

  • 5 of 5

We spent 10 days here over Christmas/New Years 2016 with our adult children. The house is on a nice quiet neighborhood. Was a great location to water, beaches and other sites we wanted to see. There are several grocery locations within a mile. The house had everything we needed, we enjoyed sitting outside at night with the firepit. The kayaks got used several times and everyone enjoyed that.

The house has washer and dryer which I appreciated since we were on road for over 3 wks total. Plenty of dishes, pots and pans, coffee pot, toaster, even had several larger dishes which was good to prepare Christmas dinner. More then enough towels for bathrooms.

We meet the owner when they took their boat out, very nice people. We would definitely recommend this house to friends and would return if in that area again.

Hidden Gem

  • 5 of 5

We are 2 60's couples who chose this location primarily to be close to Tampa airport and an easy drive to World Woods Golf courses. We loved it. the house is well-appointed to please just about any age group. The neighborhood is very quiet. There is a lot of space which of course extends to the backyard and dock area. The men enjoyed the availability of the charcoal grill and the fire pit so much that we ate in 5 nights out of 8. We highly recommend the seafood market just Northbound on US 19. The golf courses nearby are reasonable and enjoyable. Most of them are older courses, but you can't beat the greens fees. We had some cool weather and didn't get to enjoy the kayaks or the bikes. John made himself as well as his local support available to us if needed. We hope to enjoy this lovely little paradise again next year and are so grateful for the opportunity to use it.

Pleasantly met our needs.

  • 5 of 5

In town for Thanksgiving with family and John and Leann's place worked out perfectly for us. It was great to have a comfortable space to return to after busy family gatherings. We enjoyed breakfast out by the canal each morning and leisurely bike rides. We also spent some time kayaking. The fenced back yard was perfect for our dog and the kiddos even braved the chilly pool a couple of times! It was so helpful to have laundry facilities on the property as well as the provided linens, towels and paper products! Thank you!

Great gulf access!

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed this roomy home despite Hermine's appearance. It could use some TLC, had a sugar ant issue, back patio could use pressure washing and outdoor manicuring. My son enjoyed the pool and it was convenient to have our boat right at the dock. The home is clean and comfortable.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the feedback. We have those items taken care of by increasing the frequency of pest control and pressure cleaning.
