Our host Al was a gentleman. From the time we first spoke on the phone, until we met in person and on our last day renting his house, he was a professional and went to any and every extreme to keep his clients satisfied. He didn't bother us one bit when we there and told us that if there were any problems to please call him. The house that we rented from him was updated with modern amenities and was clean. We had a washer and dryer available to us and were supplied with all the comforts of home that we were accustomed to. The proximity to 95 as well as Route 1, the houses of worship, supermarkets and the beaches in Broward County were convenient to us as well. The mango tree in his backyard also provided great desserts!
From the time we were looking into booking this house, we were able to get all our questions answered quickly and with all the information we needed. The owner was polite, easy to reach, and organized. It was also very convenient to have a washer and dryer available, especially since we were traveling with kids.
House was very clean and convenient to beach and groceries. We found it quiet - little traffic noise although we did not have the windows open. Well equipped kitchen and nicely decorated. We liked it! Owner was great!
What you see is what you get. I booked the property for my family who came from Argentina. They were so in love with the house they want to rent it again the next time. It has everything you need. Very clean and cozy. It's located half block away from the Commercial ave, you have an easy access from and to the i95, it's one block away from a plaza that has a supermarket, a pharmacy, Dunkin Donuts, Denny's, just to name a few. From the beginning we had constant contact with Alberto, the owner, a sweetheart according to my grandma. Very attentive and ahead of the game. He texted us to see if we arrived safe to our next destination once we left the house. We are more than happy with what we got at such a great price. Perfection! Gracias Alberto!
We enjoyed our stay at Alberto's home. It was clean, comfortable, and centrally located. We toured several South FL beaches and had no trouble getting to all of them in record time from Alberto's home. This home is away from the Miami fast scene, but close enough to it to offer one a well rounded visit to this area of FL. The bedding was fresh and clean! The home was neat and comfortable. The kitchen is updated and was perfect for the meals that we decided to eat in. We loved it! And we will be back. I recommend it!
We very much enjoyed our stay in Fort Lauderdale, this was a first time for us renting from VRBO.com. Overall we were satisfied with this house. The house was clean upon arrival, the kitchen had everything we needed, the queen size bed was comfortable, the central AC worked fine, and the garden deck was nice to enjoy a breakfast or evening drinks. Al was very helpful and did exactly what he promised to do. It would have been nice to be within a walking distance to the beach, but the 10 minutes drive was not so bad. There are some good restaurants and shops in the area. My only complain was that the BBQ was out of order, which was a big disappointment as we were looking forward to doing a bit of grilling. There were couple nights when we were awaken by the horns of a train, the railroad is 1 mile away, but i guess the sound does carry at night. We would definitely consider staying again at this house.
