About Kathy

We were vacationing in Maggie Vally for and decided to purchase our own home. We then decided that we would share our home to others so that they may experience the same joy that we do each and every time we go to Maggie.

Kathy purchased this cabin in 1998

Why Kathy chose Maggie Valley/Waynesville Area

Maggie is 25 minutes from Asheville and Cherokee, has many things to do in the surrounding area and is a quiet town.

What makes this cabin unique

We have an awesome view of the valley you won't forget. The cabin is a quiet get away from the busy city life.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Our second visit here. The view is just beautiful and the home is so comfortable. We had a wonderful time. Will be back.

Amazing views!

  • 5 of 5

We were lucky enough to stay at this beautiful cabin at the peak of fall. The views were outstanding, and the colors incredible. The house was cozy and inviting, and the porch outside was wonderful. We had a small problem and needed to change the dates at the last minute, and Kathy was wonderful to work with. This was by far one of the most beautiful, and relaxing vacations we have had in a long time. We are so happy to have found this beautiful gem!

What can be said that hasn't already been said!! Great cabin; heavenly views; plenty of great restaurants; humming birds, song birds, crows & a squirrel entertained us daily. Totally restful and peaceful and/or lots to see & do. Can't wait to visit again!! ☺

Incredible views

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed at Lauria View 3 years. We are never disappointed with this cabin. The huge deck allows incredible views of Maggie Valley, rain or shine. It is very centrally located to most major sightseeing areas and the gem of a town called Waynesville. Frank and Kathy could not be more helpful with all of their properties. We plan to return as soon as possible.

Great Vacation House with View

  • 5 of 5

Well equipped, clean house for your vacation stay. Has everything for a home away from home vacation. Great view of the mountains and the Maggie Valley community below. The elevation provided great relief from the Florida heat.

Owners Kathy and Frank are very nice and respond to all questions quickly. Excellent 5 Star accommodations.

This is one of the best homes I've ever been to. It is so cozy, so remote, and the views are amazing, and from almost every window! Its clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The owners are great, very kind and nice people. I'm making it a yearly trip for me and my family. You really don't need anything but a good book, your fav pillow, food, wine, and family.
