Ours is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, second floor Kona Sea Ridge Condo, with a beautiful view of Kailua Bay. It is a perfect place for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, a base for exploration and adventure, or to just relax. It is close to all of the amenities of Kailua-Kona and to the beaches along the Kona Coast.
It is furnished with a completely equipped kitchen . The open living area flows out to the beautiful lanai. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, while the guest bedroom has two extra long twin beds, which can be converted to a king sized bed. We have complete linens for both configurations. The unit has complete laundry facilities with a front load washer and dryer in the hall closet.
We do get great breezes most of the time! There are window air conditioning units in both bedrooms, as well as the living room. There are also ceiling fans in the kitchen, living area, and both bedrooms, as well as portable fans to enhance the breezes.
Cable TV and WiFi internet is included. There is a 40 inch HD flat screen television in the living room, along with a Blu-Ray/DVD/CD home entertainment system, capable of streaming video with surround sound. There is a 32" HD flat screen television in the master bedroom. Both TV's are "smart TV's" and are connected to Oceanic Cable.
There are boogie boards, beach chairs, beach mats, beach towels, and snorkeling gear for your use.
We live in the far north of California, and have been blessed to have traveled frequently. We love the outdoors, and are especially fond of snorkeling, boogie boarding, kayaking, hiking, and cycling.

All of our best family vacation memories are from the times we spent on the Kona side of Hawai'i. After two years of looking, we fell in love with Kona Sea Ridge's location, on Alii Drive, which is close to both Kailua-Kona Village and ocean activities. The complex is quiet, gated, and beautifully maintained. It has a beautiful pool area and fitness room. We enjoy that we can easily walk to town in minutes, and that shoreline access is just across the street from the complex.
Our home is a few minutes walking from the restaurants, services, and shopping of Kailua-Kona Village. It is also close to beaches, great snorkeling spots, hiking, kayaking, surfing, and other outdoor activities. We love how relaxing and quiet Sea Ridge is.
Had a great time.The owners were.very responsive throughout the whole experience from booking, answering all questions, providing a wonderful write up for arrival and during the stay as well as keeping us informed on check out and future opportunities. The condo was as depicted in the VRBO write up and contained everything required to get comfortable and start enjoying life in Paradise immediately.

This condo is perfect in all ways. We stayed here for one month. it has everything you need to make your Big Island stay enjoyable. Tod and Carole were very easy and kind to deal with. the welcome package was full of great tips on where to snorkel, eat, site see etc. Beds are comfy, loads of towels and great beach towels too. sitting on the lanai watching the sunsets was simply amazing. the winds blow through the condo so along with the fans it cooled the condo down so we didn't even use the air conditioning. walking to town was a breeze, better to leave your car home as parking downtown is limited. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. we tried Get Sum pizza, huggos, quinns, Annies, Lava Java and the Coffee Spot and all were decent on better to eat at. the pool area and hot tub were great, pool is not heated so was a bit on the cool side. the barbq's are kept clean and we never had any trouble using them. We would return to this condo in a heartbeat if we were able to find rental time. our thanks for sharing this lovely condo with us.
We stayed at the condo for 5 weeks during a re-location. It was a great place to start out our new adventure in Kona! The condo was stocked with everything we needed plus much more! It was wonderful to have boogie boards and snorkel equipment for our many beach adventures.
The condo is located close enough to the shops, dining, farmers market and beaches on Alii, but is very quiet and private.
The "Welcome Packet" was wonderful with many suggestions, food options and helpful directions.
This was our first VRBO experience and Tod was great about communicating.
The pictures and description of the property were very accurate.

We stayed for five weeks from late January to first few days in March, 2014 and the owner gave us great help with all of his instructions and advice. The property, including grounds and pool, was clean and very well-maintained as well as the best-stocked condo we've ever stayed in. Had everything you could want. It was close to town, you could walk or drive to anything within minutes. The photos were very accurate and we would definitely recommend this property to others. We'd also stay here next time we're in Kona. Thanks so much to Todd and Carol for sharing their condo with us. We had so much fun.
We are close to all of the beach and ocean activities on the West side of the Big Island. The Kohala Coast is just 30 minutes north and the Volcanoes Park area is within easy day trip driving range. There are plenty of gorgeous uncrowded beaches and great snorkeling spots. We often share a cove with spinner dolphins or turtles!
