We stayed for 6 nights over the holidays with two families of four. The home is very nice, well equipped and well maintained. Plenty of space for two families. The location is great. Close enough to walk to the River Run lifts and close enough to walk to the restaurants in Ketchum (about 5 to 10 minutes to each area). We would for sure stay in this home again.
We stayed in this property in early July and it was our second stay. We have consistently returned to this area due to the accessibility to town (only a 5 minute walk) and to Baldy (another 5 minute walk) which both are reachable via the excellent bike path system in Sun Valley. We arrived after 27 hours of flying and 2.5 hours of driving (we are coming from Singapore) and Renee (the owner) left us a gift basket with chips, salsa, games for the kids, and home made brownies which was much appreciated. The house is super clean, has every amenity, and lots of space for a family of 5 (kids ages 14, 11, and 2.5) to spread out in. You can tell the owners really care about their property and spend the time to ensure it's well appointed, and constantly updated. We also loved the hot tub outside which was a nice addition even on hot days after hiking all day. Another bonus was the cruiser bikes that we used to cruise into town and up and down the bike path. Renee has taken care of every detail that you would need in a family vacation home! In my view, it's the perfect headquarters to start your Sun Valley family adventure. We will definitely be returning!!! Just be forewarned to book in advance as this is a popular property with all the right amenities!
The house was well appointed and the location was perfect. There was more than enough room for our large group of 8. The owners were responsive and accommodating. We would definately stay again.
Skiing week in Sun Valley, 5 adults. The condo is very clean and well appointed with all you need for Winter (and Summer) fun as near as we can tell. Vertical condo with a few sets of stairs, but nothing to worry about. Kitchen is in great condition and well stocked to support cooking needs/desires. No complaints on any sleeping arrangements and the heated floors throughout were a nice touch. TVs/entertainment systems are very good. Garage is a bit small for a truck and parking in the area is limited so just be prepared to work with that. Easy to walk to downtown and quick access to river walk. If you store skis and boots on the mountain you could walk to/from Sun Valley main lodge. Good communications/service from the owners. Overall tremendous experience for a week of Sun Valley Skiing.
Beautifully appointed. Fully equipped with everything needed. A perfect place to stay as a family.
Our family went to Sun Valley for the first time in January and we could not have asked for a better home to rent. The condo was beautifully decorated yet extremely cozy for our family (including a 3yr old and 6mo old). The view of the slopes and the gondola while sitting in front of the fire provided great family time before hitting the slopes! It was awesome that Renee was available 24/7 for the many questions we had as we planned to head out West. We have skied many places and this condo is now one of our favorites. The heated floors and spacious rooms were an added bonus! Unlike most rental condos that are "bare bones" when you arrive, my family was presently surprised to find toiletries, extra sets of sheets, plenty of towels and a pantry full of dishes and cookware. We appreciated everything that was done to make this trip a memory.
Within walking distance to River Run lodge, gondola and lifts. Within walking distance to Ketchum's restaurants, bars, grocery, shopping. On walking/bike path.
