Beautiful 3br 2ba Home With Gorgeous Mountain Views At The Top Of The Cove

We welcome you to our little piece of Paradise!!

This inviting and private 1360 square foot home is located on a large cul-de-sac lot near the top of Cathedral City Cove. The Cove, a beautiful hillside neighborhood, is well known for it’s star-gazing skies (no street lights allowed) and incredibly tranquil and quiet nights. There are 3 beautifully furnished bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large private backyard with salt water pool and picturesque views of the Santa Rosa Mountains.

The living room is complete with plush furnishings, large flat screen TV and DVD with Netflix, Pandora etc. access. The fully equipped dining and Kitchen area has everything the gourmet or casual cook needs with easy access through sliding glass doors to the pool and backyard. There are ample linens and towels for inside and outside use.

The Master: Amenities include a plush pillow top California King, ample dresser and night stand space, private bathroom and separate entry from/to the pool area as well as flat screen television with DVD player.

The Double: This double-size room includes two Full pillow-top beds, long dresser and tall chest of drawers and ample closet space. Sliding glass doors open to the rear porch sitting area overlooking desert landscaping and majestic pine trees.

Queenie: The 3rd bedroom boasts a Queen pillow top bed and ample storage for the second couple or older siblings.

The oasis like backyard features rose bushes, pine trees, desert vegetation and a refreshing saltwater pool. A covered lanai, season changing lawn and elevated rear deck surrounds the swimming pool with expansive mountain views that change hourly and afford spectacular starry nights. There are pool amenities, loungers, patio chairs, tables, and a covered eating area.

The home is conveniently located south of Highway 111 between Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage. The location is perfect…close to everything...yet away from it all!! Access to miles of hiking trails lined with native cactus, smoke trees and fragrant wild desert sage without getting having to get in the car.

Within a very peaceful hillside environment, it's still only 10 minutes away from Palm Springs and Palm Desert. A short drive and you have access to movie theatres, including an IMAX, shopping, restaurants, golf courses and Palm Springs International Airport. The Joshua Tree National Park, Aerial Tramway, Cabot Pueblo Museum, Palms to Pines Drive and Aqua Caliente Indian Canyons are all a 1 hour or less drive away.

Fewer than 5 miles away -- less than a 10 minute drive is Palm Springs' Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort, recently rated “One of the Best Places to Play” by Golf Digest. A plethora of additional public and private Golf courses are nearby as well as Tennis Courts, Sports and Fitness activities and many excellent Delis and Restaurants!

I moved to the Desert at the beginning of my career and this is the first house I bought. A major fixer at the time and so worth it. The quiet serenity and amazing views of the upper cove always brings me to a wonderfully calm and loving sense of wellbeing. This is the house where my wife, Christel, and I began our relationship, had our wedding rehearsal dinner and have continually infused our love into this property for 20 years.

What makes this house unique

Laying in the sun by the pool and enjoying the wonderfully maintained landscape and everchanging mountain views in total privacy and serenity. Playing Golf and Hiking. Going to the nearby Casinos. Shopping in Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage. Wine Tasting in Palm Springs. Bike Riding and Going to movies at our Nearby IMax or going to 'the River' in Rancho Mirage.

Great Getaway Home!

This home was perfect for our large family, which includes preschoolers as well as teens. The property is well maintained with lovely landscaping. We especially loved the view of the flowering bushes thru the living room window. There is a large, lighted pool in back that kept our kids happy for hours. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed to prepare family meals and plenty of seating. We also took advantage of the gas grill by the pool to entertain relatives. There is a tv in each bedroom, which was a great way to wind down at night. Byron, the property manager, was very flexible and understanding as we arrived later than expected. Anything we needed was just a text away. Since he lives next door he was over in a matter of minutes. He is such a kind and friendly man. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable and relaxing home... Then this is your place! We hope to return some day soon!

Great Memorial Day Weekend!

We had a fantastic long Memorial Day weekend here. The property is even better than the pictures share! We had two small children and a dog in our party -- and it was perfect. The backyard is fenced in (with a desert garden) and the pool has a corner with a raised slab -- the equivalent of a "kiddie" section where they could stand and play in their life jackets. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook family meals, plenty of towels for all of the fun in the pool, and the three bedrooms were comfortable and fit our party well. It's a quick Uber ride into Downtown Palm Springs and to/from golf courses. We can't wait to come back!

Best Desert House!

I stayed here for Coachella wkend 2 and mostly needed it to sleep. There was a group of 6 adults, we had ample space in the 3 bedroom house. i loved using the pool, especially after I realized it has a self cleaning system and all the plant debris i saw in the morning was gone after my shower. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and the cooling system works great, you'll never be hot in here! The house looks just a great as the pictures, you won't be disappointed and property manager Randy was awesome.

Great Place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful and serene spot in Cathedral City. The house was clean, well-stocked, and everything worked! The selling point on this place is the back yard and pool. Very quiet neighborhood and beautiful backyard surroundings. Nice large pool and plenty of space and patio furnishings. The landscaping is great with palms, cacti and a nice patch of grass. Sean and Cristel are a pleasure to deal with and they really care about wanting you to enjoy your stay and have everything you need. Randy is a real treasure - there to show you around and help if you need it. If you are there when it is not hot you can pay extra to heat the pool and I am glad we did. Upon request Byran turned it up to a comfortable 86 degrees and after a terrible windstorm (not common) he made an early trip over to clean the debris out of the pool. Those guys were so helpful. Thank you all!

Perfect house for family and/or friends

The house was accurately described in the website. The floor plan works very well for circulating and allowing people to gather inside or outside and at least two people can comfortably use the kitchen together. The large table, and the space around it also add to gathering aspect.

All parts of the house, bedrooms, bathrooms, etc were very clean, beds were comfortable.

The kitchen was above average supplied with cookware, serving dishes , silverware and more than the basic staples in the pantry closet.

We did have trouble with the complicated tv/cable - maybe that was just us - But the managers were willing to come over and help every time.

The neighborhood is lovely, quiet, good for walks and has access to mountain trails without having to get into a car and drive. There is an info book, well designed and organized to aquaint people with the area, near and far.

The neighborhood is so residential that one does need a car, or extreme fitness, to get to the nearest store.

We would recommend this home to others and would also stay there again ourselves.

Great house

Very comfortable, nice and clean house. Our big family enjoyed the stay during the Christmas break.

Everything is as described.

The kitchen had everything you may need. The pool is clean and heated, and we could swim even the weather was quite chilly.
