The house was great and comfortable. The deck overlooking the ocean we a highlight. The house is decorated with so many beach themed ornaments I don't think you will have any issues remembering you are at the coast.
The kitchen is decently equipped but the electric stove top burners do not fit in the inserts that are below them so if you use them be prepared for a very slanted cooking surface. It made food preparation a bit difficult.
Everything else was great!
The driveway is vicious and the house is decorated with lots of corny chacka, but aside from that the place is great!
We came down with the family for our grand daughters gymnastics meet. Where as the weather did not cooperate at all, we really enjoyed our time here. This was a first for us to rent a house vice a hotel room and it is now something that will always be the norm. We were so comfortable it was like we were at home.
My daughter and I stayed here for Thanksgiving and to celebrate both our birthdays. We brought our 2 dogs. The house was cute and cozy, we loved it! Having the dogs with us, the concrete patio and deck was nice and helped keep the dogs clean in spite of the rain. The house is right there in the heart of the a bustling area by highway 101 but felt tucked away and private. The beach is just a few minute walk and the view from the house of the ocean was great! I would definitely recommend this house to families, couples and those traveling with dogs. I would not recommend it for those traveling with young toddlers because of all the nick nacks. You will spend most of your time monitoring your young child.
We had a great time at this house- awesome view and easily walkable to both the Bayfront and to Nye Beach. Loved the cute beachy decorations! It was also nice that they provided soap and shampoo.
We loved Hill Villa! We walked to the beach and to the bay, nice location and everything we needed. Loved to be able to do laundry there. Nice to be able to sit by wood stove after a chilly day on the beach. Perfect size for 4 plus dog, we had plenty of space. Very clean and everything was in working order.
