Our Bobcat Vineyard casita constructed in 2014 is surrounded by 4 acres of Pinot Noir Grapes. Each of the two bedrooms with killer views has a Queen Size Bed and with it's own bathroom attached. The living room also has a sleeper sofa to accompany extra guests. Take a stroll through the vineyard or enjoy a soak in the private, outside hot tub. A gas barbecue on the patio is also provided for your enjoyment.
The kitchen is complete with stainless steel appliances and beautiful granite countertops.
Thanks for checking out our newly constructed private Casita. Bernie and I love living in the magical Edna Valley region and are thrilled to now be able to share this experience with our guests.
Ed Kurtz purchased this house in 2013
Located right in the middle of our vineyard, you will have amazing views of the grapes from every window of the Casita. This is one of the best locations in Edna Valley, with less than a ten minute drive from downtown San Luis Obispo, the Village of Arroyo Grande and the ocean in Pismo Beach.
This is the perfect place to escape your daily routine!
The casita at Bobcat Vineyard was a perfect place for a brief vacation. It is situated in the middle of Edna Valley wine country in San Luis Obispo. We found comfortable beds, a fairly well-stocked kitchen, lovely bathrooms and beautiful surroundings. From this location you can easily get around to many wineries and find excellent restaurants. That plus the coast made it an excellent place to spend time. Will definitely think about returning on our next Central Coast visit.
If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet stay right in the heart of Edna Valley then the Casita at Bobcat Vineyards is just the place. The Casita is exactly as described and fully met and exceeded our expectations. Nice central location as Pismo Beach and downtown San Luis Obispo are only 10-15 minutes away and you're just minutes away from several award winning wineries. The Casita is absolutely beautiful and sits adjacent to the vineyards. A perfect setting for your morning coffee out on the patio. We definitely plan on staying here again the next time we are back up in San Luis Obispo.
Our first impression of the casita began before we ever arrived, with very helpful and courteous pre-trip communications with the owner Ed Kurtz. I felt a sense of ease and comfort about our decision to book the casita and looked forward to what I believed would be an enjoyable experience and we were not disappointed!
The casita was easy to find, even in our after-dark arrival time. As weary travelers we found the casita to be simply charming and exuded a welcoming warmth at the end of a long traveling day. The furnishings were very attractive and comfortable. In particular I enjoyed the beautiful water-color paintings by Ed's wife Bernie, which depicted scenes in keeping with the Central Coast wine region. The beds made for very a restful nights sleep as well. The casita in general was exceptionally well cared for and clean, clean, clean! The kitchen is a delight and so very inviting that we actually regretted that we weren't able to cook in it, due to our busy weekend schedule...maybe next time!
The casita is a very short drive into Pismo or San Luis Obispo and this made it easy for us to map out excellent eateries to begin or end our busy days.
Bravo and thank you to the Kurtz family for offering a true five star experience!
Had the best time staying at the casita with a couple fellow Cal Poly SLO alumni for a birthday reunion trip. Ed was a great host who was easy to communicate with prior to the stay, and left us a bottle of wine and wine tasting vouchers to a nearby winery. The property is stunning and so relaxing, and although the casita is close to the main house we still felt like we had privacy. Thank you Ed & family for the hospitality! We hope to return again soon.
We were excited to find this little jewel. Rented for my 50th birthday with a few girlfriends and we just kept saying how much we liked the place.
The first night we went on a walk around the neighborhood which was lovely. It was almost harvest time for the grapes so all the vines were colorful. Looking out the bedroom windows we were able to see the vineyard every morning. It's also centrally located near everything. If you are looking for fun things to do... We went on a zipline adventure in Santa Margarita and then rented electric bikes in Avila.
The casita was well kept and we would definitely stay there again. : )
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Casita this July. It is truly a lovely place, with every amenity you could possibly need! The beds are comfortable, and the furnishings are top notch. The kitchen had everything we needed too. And, we really enjoyed the jacuzzi looking out to the vineyards! The owner, Ed, was very available through email, and was quick to answer all my questions. It was also in a perfect location, as we were attending wedding festivities at Greengate Ranch, right next to the Bobcat vineyard. We used the free wine tasting coupons at the winery across the street. We plan to come back!
